The software for the table planner is very flaky. The first thing you need to do is type in your guestlist. After which you can lay your table plan out. Get that done first, then we can talk about the table planner itself. It does work but the table planner won't save properly, but it can be done. Get the guest list loaded in first though.

Go to the table planner page and along the top, you'll be able to select the shape you want (i.e. round, oval, rectangular). Next to that type in the number of place settings you want, and click 'add'. Repeat the process, adjusting the table size/shape as you see fit.

You will also see a series of discs placed along the left hand side. This is your guest list. Drag them over to the tables you want, but DO NOT SAVE. If you do, they will fly back to the left and you'll have to redo everything. The only way round it is to lay everything out and print afterwards at least then you have a hard copy.

N.B. you may have to pencil inane missing name per table.

As long as you print first, and don't save anything, you should be fine. Just bear in mind it's the software and not you.
