I am about to order my table crystals.We are having a single rose on the table in a stem vase,this is then sat on a square mirror approx 30cm square with tea lights in clear glass holders.I want to have a few crystals scattered on the mirror but how many will i need? They seem to come in bags of 100 but i cannot visualise how many i will need-i was thinking maybe 25 crystals per table? what does everyone else think? xxx

I have got 11 tables poultonbride and I have ordered 1500 crystals off the bay (very small ones though) it depends on the size of the crystal, if they are chunky then you won't want as many. What size? xx

i had same problem so in the end i decided up ordering clear oasis dew drops, u get good sized tub and can also get other colours! x
if you google then you will find them just oval kind of gems instead of diamond shape! has same effect i got mine and look fab! the bay sell them too! x

Don't get me started on table crystals lol.
I've ended up with 4,000 6.5mm and 4,000 8mm, both in different shades of sky blue, which wasn't my plan but they do look quite effective in mixed sizes. I have 9 tables, top-table and cake table.
I would think the 10mm might be a bit big if you're only putting them on the mirror though hon. I'd probably do a smaller size but perhaps have a few more than 25.
I did read that people put 500 4.5mm per table, but if you're only putting them on the mirror you shouldn't need that many xxx

Jenna you have a lot of crystals lol!.Thanks for the advice as i really didn't have a clue,i have just had a look on a ruler and think you are right 10mm is quite big! Hayley i have just googled the dew drops and i like them. I think i have more research ahead of me before i commit to buy lol xxx

nothing like a sequin it's hard to tell from pictures but they are just little glass gems! bit like gems u can get for your vases and i can have in bowls etc! x they are nicer than the pictures give then credit for! x

I think I may have overdone it but I have bought 4,000....of mixed sizes......for 3 tables! but then I also would like to scatter them on the cake table too so maybe its not too many after all.

I got a bag of 1000 clear ones from the bay and I have 7 table's, Im just going to scatter a handful on each table (not counting I'm not that picly) so they sit on the black table runner's
I also have 2000 black ones for the top table, cake table and ceremony table

I ended up with a bag of 4000 4.5mm ones. We are having about 8 tables plus the cake table,Just want a few scattered in the middle of each table on the mirrored area so hopefully that will be enough1 xxx

i've got loads got 2,000 clear and 2,000 purple and i've weighed them out into 6 bags for the tables and there are tonnes in there so i might half them again to be honest. The hotel know how many to put on to be fair as i'm still wanting some for the sweet buffet as well.

easily honestly you don't realise how many is there i had faaaaaaar too many and i bought 12000 you only need what looks good on each table

Oooh thanks for posting this, this was something that has been playing on my mind about how many I'll need!! but reading above, those who mentioned diamond shape, dew drop shape, prisma ice... way tooo many to decide between!! ahh... even the smaller details are going to cause stress!! pft! xx
