i really want table cloths it would cost 120 pounds
is it silly to get table cloths if we are using such a small budget?
honest opinion ladies?

Aren't they supplied by your venue? x

no they arent supplied , we are using a villiage hall for our venue, we have to dress it ourselves

Are the tables nice? If not I would say get them if you can afford it as it will make a big difference to the room. We've had to budget for chair covers as the chairs at our venue aren't very nice

My brother and his wife bought a load of bed sheets. Far cheaper and they looked just as good.
30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.
It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.
I agree with Elinor Claire bed sheets do sound like a good idea.

My honest opinion is 2k is a ridiculous amount to spend on tablecloths! We're having sequin ones & they're not even costing that much! Have you checked the bay or supermarket ones as Brilly said? The bed sheets sound like a good idea too xx

Lol Siany! I think the whole budget is £2000 and Roxanne has set aside £120 for tablecloths!! But yeah, i've seen bedsheets/throws used as table cloths before and they've been really effective :-) x

i think bed sheets sound like a good idea, or charity shops. How many tables do you have? May be worth asking family? We are on a similar budget in a village hall but have been fortunate cos the caterers are providing tabe cloths!
CommentAuthorFee
go to a material shop or local market and ask them how much material would cost also x
CommentAuthorRoxanneG96
it would only cost £1.50 less per table cloth if i hired them, so i would rather just buy they for the price
i did think about bed sheets, but they are slightly see through arent they? i dont imagine they would look as good as table cloths,
il buy some to have alook at the quality, they wont be wasted as they can go on my daughters bed after lol
siany that was hilarious !! lol 2k on tablcloths :)

Why don't you try fabric shops. I have a few in my area that sell nice fabric any colour £1 a yard all you'd need to do is neaten edges with a sewing machine x
