I am having candles, but currently undecided as to having red rose petels around them or flowers, but like wreaths on doors, holly, roses, fir cones etc not sure

We are having antique white bird cages with a flower pomander hanging inside and maybe some fairy lights at the bottom or intertwined in the cage. Not sure which flowers to use yet though. x

I got them from the bay of e, bought 9 altogether, think they were £8 each or something like that. They will look great just with flowers arranged in them but i decided on pomanders as i can make them myself and it is simple but pretty. There are pics of gold ones in my album with flowers and feathers arranged in them which looks fab! Am going to check your album out Croc, love vintage themed stuff! :)

I think they were a popular idea last year but is still a favourite then! Your flower album is gorgeous Crocadillo, really stunning, can't wait to see all your wedding photos! And not long to wait really, only 4 months to go! :) Really like your idea of having family members wedding photos displayed too, think i may have to use that but just for my grandparents who have passed away now but it will be like having them there for me, and i think my aunties and mum will appreciate it too. :) x

We are having vases with water crystals in and cream gerberas and then a gold butterfly on one of the gerberas. The vases will be on square mirror tiles and have crystals scattered around them, quite simple so hoping it will work. But the venue is so gorgeous with its chandeliers and that i thought i didnt want to over do it and take peoples attention away from the room. (Cause at end of day thats what we have spent all our money on)
CommentAuthorjodie b
we're having a fishbowl vase with clear pebbles in and a single gerbera head on top with purple and silver thin "leaves" wrapped round inside sat on a round mirror plate with purple and clear diamond table decorations and tea lights xx
CommentAuthorCroc
A www cheers girlies..... I can't wait to see em .... I ve gone for Versailles vintage as both me and h2b love France and we go there at least 6 times a year for the day .....
Hopefully there will be piccies IF we can find a replacement photographer by Friday!!

We're having one large thin vase and three smaller thin vases that are filled with water but have lillies in them. The bigger vase has floating candles. They are so hard to describe but there are a couple of piccies in my bits and bobs album. The tope table is having 3 large candles in silver holders but I can't find pictures of them :( xxx

Unfortunately our venue are doing ours otherwise Id have liked to make them up. We are having Gold candelabras with ivory taper candles as although they are not very imaginative they fit in with our victorian christmas theme. xx

At the moment we're not having any *shock horror* because we're having afternoon tea and will probably have the sandwiches in the middle. But not entirely decided yet! If we do have them then it will be old jam jars with hydrangeas in :) Very country chic :)

Hydrangeas look so pretty, if i don't use pomanders inside my bird cages it will definitely be hydrangeas in a small vase inside. Simple, inexpensive but soooo gorgeous! And fits in completely with a tea themed reception. :) x

I have 40cm tall black lily vases that i got off the bay (10 for £30) and today i got some flowers that i fell in love with for £10 with a vase but the roses in it are £3 for 5 and the grass is a £1 each so if i have 3 roses in each of my centre pieces i can get the flowers for £20 making it £50 for all my tables SOOOOOO CHUFFED Pics are in my profile (the vase in the pic is what it came with today but im going to put them in the lily vase that are in the same album)

Lol, Mrs HInch 2B!! I even looked on bay of e for artificial ones and they are so cheap it is silly, i was going to have them originally and mix them with fresh ones for the scent, but going to try my hand at making flower pomanders first, fingers crossed! x

We're thinking of black and white balloons. I like the idea of having flowers but MIL2B is making the bouquets and buttonholes as a wedding gift so I don't really want to be cheeky and ask her to do the table centrepieces too. The kids can take the balloons away afterwards like they always like to do

we only recently decided. Seems the florist wanted £350 for rented centre pieces we decided on making our own. We have 50cm lilly vases, which will have heart outlines made of willow comming on the top, the hearts are then going to have a gerbera and an orchid suspended in the middle (our flowers). Just getting all the bits together and will put pics up once the construction is complete :)
