Hello everyone, I am having a bad time finding Centre pieces for the tables.. I don't want flowers and can't have candles cause of health and safety. Any help. I am having a spring wedding so trying to incorporate that, my color scheme is pastel colors, liked teal but it has been used recently in a friends wedding. My venue has been booked and I hoped i would get a glimmer of inspiration from that, gosh help me ladies any advice welcome..

If you type into google images "alternative table decorations" you find loads of great ideas for centre pieces and decor other than the standard flowers, candles etc. x

Sweet trees? We have bought some fishbowls for our centrepieces (not sure what we'll fill it with but they were only 2.99 each, bargain! lol) If you type wedding centrepieces into google images, you might find some ideas?

I get married in two weeks and I had the same issues as you. My table centre pieces are medium sized fake birdcages that you can pick up for cheap from most places ... Mine were £3 eack and then I bought some ribbon in my colour scheme and tied a bow around them. My friends who get married later this year are having Giant tea cups which they have spray painted to suit their theme.

awesome ideas ladies.. loving all the helpful advice.. its silly that the mst trivial part of planning a wedding is so difficult, cause compared with choosing a dress and venue this should be easy lol.. Sweets all the way i think as we are both big sweet lovers, cheaper than having a sweet station and doubles up as wedding favours... :-)
I LOVE UKBRIDE and how helpful it is to chat with other b2b's

How about giant cupcakes! ...you can also get some cake boxes and get ur venue to slice up the cakes and

then end of your reception and fill the boxes as favours. They can be made to fit your colours perfectly xx

Table centre pieces are the trickiest part of the wedding planning for me. I've always hated the idea of using fresh flowers as I'd prefer to see them growing somewhere than dying needlessly. You girl have given me some great and hopefully cheap ideas. Most of the quotes I've had have been around £50-£75 per display, with 10 tables that's £500-£750 zoiks!

    I can't wait until 29/06/2013
The day I marry the man of my dreams!

I have so many ideas from you ladies, doing the table decs myself will definitely work out cheaper, just a case of working out what to do. We have chosen a seaside theme as we grew up together at the seaside. Maybe fish bowls with just married rock in them or martini glasses.
With all of your ideas sounds like your gonna have gorgeous days xx
