Just need some sympathy... i'm getting quite upset as there are not enough hours in the day... what with work, an ill child and organised evenings out (by h2b)... i haven't been able to do much with planning the wedding. I have made time to be on here as I know what fantastic lovies you all are.
Anyone else having the same probs...?
CommentAuthorKerrylou
Even if the day was twice as long I still wouldn't have enough hours, so I understand totally *hugs* I'm working to a deadline before Squigglet is born and it's a blummin nightmare. Chin up - you'll get there xxx

much as we do right now - 1 week to go :D

Thanks girls x x much needed hugs there. btw h2b says... "don't worry it will be perfect" i know its his 2nd but his 1st was in vegas... so tell me how he knows this???

We ahve established that men think that weddings plan themselves and should only start planning 3 or 4 weeks before. Let him know that you feel stressed and need some time just to sit and watch tv in the evening after your child has gone to bed. Also delegate some jobs to him....hiring the car (if your having one) booking the DJ, etc etc.
p.s some more ((((hugs)))) for you, lol. xx

I'll tell you exactly how he knows this Lisa77 Men don't tend to concern themselves with the 'faff' of weddings because there is actually only one thing that matters to them - being able to call his beloved his wife. Flowers, centrepieces, dresses, hair, make-up, readings, meals, DJs don't make the day..........what makes the day is becoming man & wife. THAT's how he knows it's going to be perfect ;)
My best friend, who is also my Lady of Honour lives in America and for a few reasons her and her fiance decided 3 days ago to just go to the courthouse and get married, she emailed me the pictures this morning and I've never seen a couple look more happy and in love! He turned up in a casual dress shirt and black trousers, she rolled in wearing a summer blouse, vest underneath and a skirt. Out of all the wedding photos I have ever seen these were by far the loveliest!

CommentAuthorLisa77
lol... we're not in enough to create housework!!!!
CommentAuthorMrs Mara Tester
Yea I should probably get some housework done before H2B gets home. However, If I haven't done it I will tell him I couldn't be *rsed, I work 4 evenings a week behind a bar and sometimes don't finish til midnight and sometimes work all day saturday and sunday too. Then I look after my kids everyday whilst trying to fit in housework and washing, ironing. Sometimes it feels like there is no time to even breath.
How old is you lil one? xx

my little one is 10yrs, he has his tasks to do, so it takes the pressure off me... esp with the little things. sounds like you barely have time to pee too

Yep im feeling ya pain Lisa!!
Im currently on placement up until September. I leave the house at 6.30am each day and don't arrive home until 7pm - sometimes later. I have NO time whatsoever to do stuff right now. My house is a tip, my kids are usually ready for bed when i get home, and on top of all that we're off on holiday in a couple of weeks so god knows when i'm gonna get time to do wedding stuff!

Is it selfish of me to want my own time... h2b has gone out, and can go out pretty much when he wants, but I leave work, pick up my son from the childminders, come home and catch up on some washing.
Yesterday, h2b says... when we get back from shopping you can have a lie down, so we get back and he joins me.... then last night he even disturbs my thoughts.
Blimey, can i not even think in peace. I just want a day where its just me... if i di ever get "me" time, my son is with me!!!!

Lisa I found it all too much as well and i haven't got any little ones!! I found it easiest to pick something that needs sorting e,g wedding cars or invitations and focus on that, giving it a time limit, then the whole thing doesn't seen so daunting!! x x
