We are really struggling to get a band/swing singer booked for our wedding next August. Having searched the net for days and come up with a couple via these entertainment agency sites, many cost an absolute fortune as they are not local to the North West (our wedding is in Windemere), and we would prefer a recommendation anyway.
We have had 2 excellent swing singers recommended from people local to the area who we know, but they are both booked up for the night of the 7th August AND IT IS A SUNDAY! Cant believe how unlucky we have been so far with this. I can only hope this is fate and we will eventually get something booked.
we would like someone who can do a couple of live sets then provide a disco later on - we werent thinking of having a dj as we hate cheesy discos etc. but one of the professional singers advised us to go with it because if not they said it might flatten the evening if there is no entertainment later on other than an ipod.
thoughts, anyone in the NORTH WEST PLEASE????? AT RISK OF BECOMING BRIDEZILLA RE. MUSIC! JOJO X
