Okay love swimming its one of my fav forms of exercise but kind of don't go very much any more because of what it does to my hair. how do you protect your hair from the chemicals they use to keep the pool clean. want nice healthy looking hair for the wedding not dry straw.

I would say the only this is a hat. Hairdressers can tell if you swim or not so it must be bad what it does to your hair. I used to go to Virgin and they use salt water rather than chlorine so you might find changing pools might help.

boots chemist do a collection called 'sun & swim' and ive always used it for either hols or swimming, especially as i colour and straighten my hair and its always been ok.
they used to or may still do a hair protection spray which was very intensive and one of the 'famous' hairdresser ranges also does an intensive conditioner which says on the back to slap in hair before sun bathing or swimming. failing that any intensive conditioner combed through will form a barrier and protect from chlorine.
