Me and H2B have decided that we are having a table to ourselves......I believe its called a sweetheart table.
We are doing it because if we all sit together on one big round table, the whole bridal party plus partners...is 9. and although thats not huge, I would just prefer that they all sit together, they can have fun together as they are all friends, and me and H2B can have some special time together.......

Has anyone else decided to do this, or not do this? or HAVE done this........has anyone got any thoughts or suggestions about it?
I suggested it to H2B and didnt really think he would like the idea, but he said its a great idea, and he'd prefer it that way.

i think its a great idea, h2b and i arent having a traditional table either due to both of our families being split, so it will be me, h2b, best man and MOH and FG (her daughter)

yeah we''d love to just have me and h2b but as we have the 3 kids it wouldn't be fair so we had thought just us and the kids but then we'll be the only ones that they pester all day, so we're having the bridesmaids and groomsmen so we have less of a headache!! we'll end up with 12 on our table
the parents will be mixed in with the guests as mine are seperated and dont see eye to eye.

We have split parents too so 3 families so we have opted for a round table too but will have my parents, H2B parents, best man and 2 bridemsiad.... no step parents but split everyone up and figured round was easier so i can see everyone too.

well my sons girlfriend had p1ssed me off recently, and H2Bs daughters partner, neither me or H2B really like her....but feel like we have to sit her with us because his daughter would be upset if she was moved onto a table with strangers.....and to be fair it would be uncomfortable for her
Sooooooo......moving off the table and letting them all sit together, kills 2 birds with one stone. it gets them to all sit together, and gets me and H2B away from the 2 people we dont much care for.....sorted'

    We're doing this.

We're going to have two round tables either side where my parents can 'host' one and H2B parents can 'host' the other. Hopefully they'll be close enough we can still talk to people on the other tables.

Saves all the hassle on who to sit at the top table. Cause I cannot be dealing with it

We've got split parents too that we need to keep as far apart as possible, we're going to sit on a round table in the middle of everyone so we can be surrounded by our guests x

Yes RaggedyAnne - We are doing just a sweetheart table. Too many family issues xx I think it will be the easierst option, and as you said, have a bit of time together just the 2 of us x
