Hiya everyone! Not posted in a while, but just thought I'd let you all know our good news! - I'm pregnant! I have PCOS, and hardly ever have a period, before my last one it was about 7 months since I'd had one! The doctors told me I would struggle to conceive, if it were possible at all. I ended up depressed because I LOVE children, and would do anything to have one! We talked about having babies after the wedding, but figured we'd eventually have to go through IVF and the works... Because I'd heard the doctors usually ask you to try conceiving naturally for a while before they'll do anything, we decided after the wedding we would stop using contraception and just 'not not try' for about a year until work had calmed down etc and then we would be able to go to the doctors and explain we'd effectively been having unprotected sex for a year with nothing... Well... a few weeks ago, after planning all this, things got carried away and we ended up having unprotected sex twice... I didn't think anything of it due to what the doctors had said and the fact I rarely have a period, so figured I wasn't ovulating! This week I found out I was pregnant! A week before the wedding! Lol! So no drinking, and no water park on honeymoon - but such a small price to pay considering I thought I would desperatly struggle to get pregnant. I'm so happy :D Anyone else getting married pregnant??? xxxxx

Congratulations! Try to take it easy and keep checking back with your doctor. If he thought you'd have trouble concieving, you just want to make absolutely sure that the pregnancy is going to be as problem-free as possible. And right before the wedding too. Keep it hush so you can announce it on the day! Your guests will all be so excited for you!

That's brilliant news congratulations perfect wedding gift . I also have pcos and I'm worried that will find it hard to conceive , we want to wait till after the wedding to try and conceive but not sure when I want to come of my contraception , we have both decided it would be difficult to have the wedding we want if we had a baby first so I'm thinking of coming of my contraception after the honey on so at least can enjoy a few drinks and not worry about flying etc , so pleased for u hunni xx
