i was thinking of mixing heart confetti with 30th stuff and having a third of the balloons saying 30
what do you think about adding a little insert to the invites saying 'Shhhh!! Don't Tell The Groom...' and say it's a joint 30th??
i'm really worried about him finding out though. i want it to really be a surprise!!!!

I think you could arrange a balloon drop, h2b will know that you are planning one but what he doesnt need to know is that all the balloons dropped with be happy 30th balloons, and you can arrange for him to have a birthday cake.... get it carried into him and let everyone sing happy birthday and then the balloons drop as well. That way right up until then the party is to celebrate your marriage like planned, and later in the evening it can be about his birthday. I think this might save it looking a bit "cluttered" with wedding and birthday decs if you get what i mean? You can also inform freinds and family roughly what you are thinking so that they can know to have birthday cards etc at the ready for later in the evening as well?

I think it's a good idea to include a bit in the invitations as long as they won't tell him the surprise! lol xx
