    Hi everyone.

I have quite a few kids invited to the wedding. Once I have found out how many are gonna be coming i was considering hiring a supervised bouncy castle to keep them happy while the speeches and everything is are going on.

Has anyone ever had one of these and do they know how much they cost?? Also do you think its a good idea having one?

raekim, I can have a bouncy castle at my venue, already ask. The kids Im having are mainly under 5 so think jenga or connect 4 is too advanced for them.

Fair enough - you can get some really funky ones with ball pits in - they're usually around the £120 mark plus staffing costs round here

its a good idea but you'll have to ask your venue first and the company will have to have public liabilty insurance . then who will you get to supervise it?

i have bought a large connect 4 and draughts

There are companies that do supervised bouncey castles, they staff them their selves. I have spoke to the venue and they said it wouldnt be a problem.

Nice idea. If theres going to be a few children, may be worth it. Check venue will let you have one.

Check how many staff they supply hun - we once had one with 3 diff inflatables and only one member of staff xxx Mind they were cool - one was a gladiators joust thing (wish i could have gone it) - this was for a 21st birthday mind - plus they could only have it for the first 2 -3 hours because we knew they would consume a vast amount of alcohol and accidents would ensue - good fun though and it went so well :D

Ooo luvlifejen - that sounds like a great idea. If I was allowed I would definitely go on for a couple of bounces in the dress, what a great photo opportunity! It sounds like a great idea if the children there will be happy to be left with a supervisor, check with their parents as under fives might be a bit clingy and you don't want the parents to have to stand outside and miss everything because the kids want to go on the castle but won't go by themselves.

Clowns are fab except when kids are scared of them, like my eldest, he would still shriek like a banshee, lol. They're are some really good magicians etc around that keep the kids entertained as well, is there a seperate room that you could hve at your venue for something inside for the kids?? Just a thought! x
