We are getting married august 2016. When would the best time be to tell the lady we want to hire suits from her from groom and all his groomsmen?

It seems to be normally around 2-3 months before depending on time of year if it's summer wedding more like 3 I'd its out of season more like 2. I'm getting my lads sorted Easter holidays for our July wedding, but that's mainly down to one of them living up country and only being avalible in school holidays as he works at a school.
Met June 2009 on my Birthday,Met again July 2009 and got
together, May 2010 Moved in,Jan 2011 got pregnant,
August 2011 Got our own place, 2011 Had our Baby Girl,
Dec 2011 Got engaged, July 2015 Getting married! Yay!

Were going to be getting ours within the next few months, H2B still hasn't decided 100% if he wants to hire or buy.

I would ask her what she would recommend we are hopefully getting the kilts organised this month (Oh thinks it can be done week before) The kilt hire shop said to me to do it earlish so that we get exactly what we want as August is a very busy month.

Most places I spoke to said around 3 months prior to the wedding, although one smaller shop said we needed to let her know 5 months before if we had a party of 5 or more x

We are going to sort suits out Jan/Feb time next year. OH wants to wait as long as possible anyway as he wants to lose weight and tone up etc. He wants to buy his, but we think we are going to rent the others, unless they want to buy them themselves of course. But not worrying about that until next year!! x

Just phoned the shop where we are wanting our suits from and she said most people book 12-18 months before but because h2b wants to lose a lot of weight before then she said nov/dec would be the latest to book as it's summer and gets booked up quickly. Half the amount to be paid when suits chosen or can do a payment plan and full amount to be paid 2 weeks before. Just phoned OH and said he'd better start his diet if he wants to lose 4-5 stone lol x

Wow, that surprises me it's so far in advance.. considering men are usually quite laid back (aka last minute) about that sort of thing!! x

I think we went in about two months before, everyone got measured up, they said to leave the two younger boys until about three weeks before though.

I think it's just to pick out which suits be wants and book the date. I think the measuring up etc will come later in 2016 x
