Ladies! Hope we are all well!

Right, so my bridesmaids have started planning my hen doo for August next year. Planning started so early because the girls that will be coming are from far and wide, and so will be difficult to collect money and such. Anyway, my problem is that my sister will only be 17 by next August. What on earth can we do about clubs? I do know that we are going out in Nottingham town on the Saturday night, so need to figure something out so my sister doesn't get ID'd and it ruins the night because we have nothing else planned.

Any suggestions that I can pass on to my BMs? xxx

ooh i would be interested in answers to this one as one of my cousins will be just a couple of weeks off being 18 and im not sure what to do either. Im thinking i my have to have something that can include younger ones during the day and the rest of us at night which would include everyone in someway or another. :)

Yeahhh, I would do that, but my hen is going to be in Notts, and I live in Mansfield, and my sister lives in Wales. Cant exactly leave her on my own at mine whilst the rest of us go to Notts hitting the clubs. Any other suggestions other than clubs that I can reccomend to my BM's? xx

I have this problem too as my sister will only be 16 & niece will be 17. Personally, i hardly drink, and ive now found out that my MOH is 4wks pregnant. So weve re thought the plans. I think were doing a spa day in London and then a night out in the city & staying in hotel. The only other option is 9 times outta 10 pubs dont ask for ID until it starts getting busy maybe a thought would be getting in that little bit earlier.

Spa days seem like a good shout as long as everyone is over the age of 16 i think. Are you a sporty person or a craft kind of person? i was at one hen do that we went to an assault course and then had drinks back at the house?

Well, I have a feeling we are going to do go ape during the day, because my BM said she would like to do it when she came last, and I agreed. And she has been mentioning personalised trackies. Hmmmm! lol. Maybe it would be a nice idea to go to a spa after that, then drinks in the hotel where the spa is? Maybe hire a room. So hard!xx

I'm off to the races for my hen do and will have my 17 year old niece there as they are quite family friendly - and even better for her, it's free for under 18s! We're then having a meal in a restaurant in town, which she will also be able to join us at, before she goes home - this way she gets to be involved in the hen do without there being any issues about her age :)

If we are married in 2013 my cousin will just be 18!
Is there any chance that they may just let you all in knowing your on a hen night they may think she is 18 anyway!

although doorman can just ask for id as they are being nosey!

You could always ask your girls to book a spa break or something along that lines!

My cousin suggested the zoo as i love pandas lol!

I was gona suggest a meal somewhere trendy coz once you've sat down its less likely she will be asked and not at all if other people just go the bar for her. She would defo be able to have a least one with a meal tho even in the most stingest places then u could always go to a club later on as the clubs dont usually gt busy till 12ish and she might have gone by then xxx

You could have a nice spa day then out for a meal in a restaurant that has a bar that way your sister could come along without being id'd and you can all enjoy a meal and pleany of drinks too x

Not sure what they have Nottingham way, but how about somewhere that has a caberet or something like that. In London you can go to some places and have a meal and watch a show (maybe burlesque?) and there's a bar so thost that want to drink could? Or you could do a meal and a show in the evening. Hx

two of my cousins will be 17 when I go on mine. I know the youngest goes out all the time and the other looks older than me so I'm not worried about this at all. Plus my mum and other older people are coming so I doubt anyone will think anything of it to be honest. With people ranging from 17 to 55 I really don't think they would bother.

They have some fab shows at the Trent Arena and then you can go on somewhere like pizza hut - we did that as we had younger people at a hen. Pizza hut might not sound glamourous, but they let us go dressed up, we played games and gave the hen kinky gifts and the staff were fab. There aren't children there at that time.
Otherwise there's the Corner House with several buffet style restaurants in or Red Hot World Buffet is even closer and accomodates all tastes - I went with my young kids, so I can't recall if they have a bar, but I'm sure they do.
You can also do a murder mystery (dressed how you like - olde world or traditional hen etc) at The Galleries of Justice on Stoney Street. And ask for Occasions to do the food and you won't be disappointed - they are my old company and whilst I can't stand my ex, I can't fault his food!!

There's tons you can do in Nottingham that doesn't have to be nightclubs

Some hotels do girls nights in, where you have treats in your hotel room and watch girly films. Other ideas would be a spa day, a meal or going to see a show.
