I'm living in Enfield and I don't really wanna do my wedding too far away. Now I am struggling! I've lost all hopes in finding a perfect venue..There are so many around but nothing too special. Does any of you brides 2b have any suggestions and advice?

I am actually thinking about it, as it is a very peaceful area :)
They do a range of packages starting at £45 per person, and they allow outside caterers if you find this cheaper.
There is a venue in Wood Green which looks nice inside, but the outside of the building was a bit shabby so put me off.
Look in southgate and Cockfosters too, it's not far and it's lovely round there.

Thanks! To be honest I'm not very fond of Wood Green there's something about it that doesn't really go with me lol Cockfosters sounds good! :) So far I just had problems with the registry..All the venues want to squeez it in at 6pm and I would prefer doing earlier

I know what you mean about Wood Green! We ruled it out as soon as we saw where it was, but I took a diversion on the way home from work to see if I could spot it. Outside looked so shabby I couldn't imagine the pictures of the inside were recent.
It was removed from our list without viewing it.

That's the easiest way to shorten the list - just to view it from the outside. It's not only the inside that we want to look good, but also the outside as well.
