Ok im not heavy but I want to lose half a stone and severely tone up. I'm only seven pounds off what I want to be and I just can't lose it! Tried everything! I tried my fitness pal app or a while, stuck to 1200 cals daily and didn't lose. Did ww and didnt lose, even gaining on weeks I'd done well! I've started doing a lot more exercise but there are days when I will just want to eat and eat. :( especially at the weekends. What. Can I do to beat these weekend binges! I do two hr classes of Zumba weekly and I try to get to the gym once or twice too. If I was eating ok and exercising the way I am, I wouldn't feel so bad cos I kno my weight would b due to muscle but wen I eat double my calories at the weekend I feel bad!

Oh I know the feeling, I've got to loose 2 stone, I've lost 1 and came to a standstill, nothing for 8 weeks, I was so upset. So this last 2 weeks I have had a bowl of cereal for my diner then a really low cal tea. I've managed to loose 4lb, but thats over 2 weeks so that was a bit disappointing, but I'm sticking to doing that for now and see how it goes, I'm so bl***y hungry all the time tho LOL ..Its so hard..
But you will do it, there's no advice I can give you to stop them weekend binges coz I haven't managed to find a way myself yet LOL..we've just goto be more stricter with ourselves I guess

Well if you dont weigh that much as it is it may be that your body needs the weight you are trying to lose hun. Muscle does weigh more than fat and for that reason most professionals suggest you go by measurements rather than weight as you can lose inches and still stay the same weight or even gain some! You dont want to go making yourself ill by losing more than your body wants you to xxx

Are you drinking enough water? If you don't drink enough your body will hold onto it. Try 2 - 3 litres each day. It may make a difference.

I'd love to lose weight for my wedding-need to get started as I'll be tryin on dresses soon!! Have you tried drinking water as LeighS suggested-sometimes we don't need food at all it's more a boredom thing or force of habit! Try drinking water if your hungry to see if that helps-if not and u don't want to eat bad then try eating or snacking on fruit. I've found that strawberries are a real saver for me-I used to go to sw and apparently they a a super speed food meaning they help lose weight faster or something like that if I mind right. But nothing beats water-drink plenty of it-it really does help! Also hot water with slices of lemon is a detox which helps weight loss too, try that instead of tea and coffee. You should put wee signs up around your house like in your room, on the fridge or even in your car as a motivator to stay on track, like a picture of your wedding dress or a model in a bikini-it's amazing how that helps me to stay away from the biscuits and chocolate!!!!!

I know its already been mentioned but I just want to reiterate that fact that muscle weighs more than fat! You may well have lost the fat, but gained muscle in its place, just go off what you look like, rather than what you weigh at this stage... i cant help but binge at weekends either though, i feel your pain, i have a monster munch addiction D:

I go to SW and the consultant says that as you get closer to your goal weight (and the smaller you are) you should go off your measurements and not your weight. Ditch the scales and start to measure yourself weekly and see if there's a difference.
As for the binges. I don't really have anything else to add. I do SW for the discipline but I do have binges as well.
