Hello to everyone, I am currently boring all my friends to death with wedding talk, but I know I can count on my friends her at UK bride to be excited with me!

We have booked a string quartet to play at our wedding, they will provide music whilst the guests arrive, during the ceremony and whilst photgraphs are taken. We have heard them play loads of times and they are fantastic! My best friend laughs every time I mention it, as much as I love her she isn't the most open minded, she thinks because she got a mini bus to the register office and had her reception in a local pub, that I am being pretentious. I don't care

I recently spoke to them about a song that I have imagined played at our wedding for ever, seeing as we have been engaged for so long it seemed fitting, the song is At Last, by Etta James and I just love it. They had never played it before and agreed to arrange it so it can be played as our exit song.

I have had an email today to say it is all done and sounding fab, I'm soooo excited, and even better they play regularly at a restaurant not too far from us so we will be able to go along and hearvthem play itbefore the big day. Today I am a very happy girl

That sounds amazing and very fancy! I would love this but have a feeling my OH wouldn't go for it, worth asking the question though :o)

Definitely worth an ask, our quartet is actually a quintet as they have a flautist playing with them, the flute plays the part that you would normally sing so its a fab touch!

I love the idea of live music, they've said they will take requests from our guests as well and they do a selection of traditional classical pieces plus more upmto date stuff. Their version of back to black by Amy winehouse is amazing!
