    Hey Ladies

Im starting to worry about paying everything off in time! :-(
Everything has to be paid 4 weeks before the wedding so only gives us 6 months to pay it all and its just starting to get me down and stress me out which is causing me and h2b to have disagreements :(, The last thing i wanted to do was stress about money so i have let him take control of it and he assures me everything will be fine and it will be all paid off in time,

Just need some positive thinking! I have even taken on a second job just for the extra cash,

    Anyone else stressing?

    xXx

Did we get on the stress boat this morning lol im the same my h2b is alway pleading poverty just now lol its stressing me out we made a deal that he would pay the rent each week (£100) and i would pay 100 towards the saving but we always end up dipping into them we have 8 months to go and so much needs payed, plus there always seems to be some occasion last week my bro invited us for a drink, this week its my nieces birthday (more money) plus my sis is have a barbie for her again more money arrrrrrhhhhh

i wish i could let my h2b take control, dont worry huni we will both get there think everyone has a stress moment.

:( Im so glad im not alone lol!

That is so true!, This month it was our car insurance, tax, MOT, its never ending, Im a stress head about money anyways so when i have my h2b spending unnecessary money on things we just DONT need it stresses me out more lol!

Only the deposits are put down for most things atm so there is still ALOT of money needs to go out... I wouldnt expect any of my family to help out they just dont have the money to give us for our wedding they help when they can but i would never make them feel like they have to put money towards it, i see it as we want to get married so we will pay for it.. just beginning to be a massive strain atm

xXx NEED SOME POSITIVE THINKING XxX

We can even think about looking at Honeymoons yet, coz we just dont know how the money situation will turn out :(

We was planning on asking guest for money so we can put towards a Honeymoon, but just feel so rude :(

Dont feel rude about asking for money for a honeymoon. My soon-to-be-brother-in-law did that for his wedding, and last night booked their dream honeymoon to Japan, which they never ever could have afforded themselves (he is a musician and she is a spanish tutor, they barely afford rent each month).
You could use a website like honeyfund (which I discovered yesterday) to build up a pool of money towards the honeymoon, or politely ask for cheques towards your honeymoon instead of gifts at your wedding. A lot of people do it, so your guests will understand and wont be put out by your asking.

What me and H2B have started doing is once all the household outgoings have left our account each month we look at what is left and then we have been actually paying it off the wedding/honeymoon - that way its not sat in a savings account where is can't be dipped into at the last minute for none essentials. We will have enerything paid off by November.

I can relate to this with 7 weeks to go I'm feeling the stress of money, still so much to pay, what i suggest is pay the priorty things, the ones you really need to have / ones you cant live without, then once paid them focus on extras. As for honeymoon, we've decided not to have one straight after wedding, but will do once we can afford it. Main thing is remember why you want to get married, its about declaring your love, not getting into massive debt and stress. Good luck hope it all works out x
