Relax and keep looking.
You can have a fantastic wedding on any budget- you just have to compromise slightly sometimes.
Now a extremely happy German housewife and now a Mother!!!!

I had about 2 weeks of constantly looking through the net with the same problem. In the end I got brochures sent out to me so I could physically compare in front of me, and then got rid of the one's that weren't suitable, and gave h2b the choice for the others, and the one we've picked is the best location and ok, more expensive than we'd planned but it'll be worth it.

I spent about 2 weeks looking on the net, local newspapers, getting brochures, phoning around for info and stuff and was really not finding anything that I liked enough. Then I heard an advert on the radio for my venue which is a golf club and thought.. mmm, wonder whether they do weddings.... checked them out and yes they did, and they were really lovely when we went to visit so booked them. Its not perfect but within budget and a nice place (not perfect because we cant walk on the grass for obvious reasons) and the bar is open to members in the lounge part in the evening (but not really the bit we are using).

i felt the same hun felt id never get there cz what ever id like he wudnt and vice versa or it was too over priced. do keep trying cz it will be worth it in the end xx

oh thanks everyone,i dint think it d be this hard but we r more limited then we was at beginnin now cos we used a grand and half of r weddin fund wen i was in hospital.looking at halifax area kimi.xxx and thanks 4 the big hug mummy2u its just wot i needed : ) xx

are you going to see venues or just looking online? If you go and see them you could feel totally different about them! We made a shortlist of 3 venues. And the one that was my favourite, turned out to be my least favourite when we went to see it!! and the one that was bottom of the list turned out to be my dream venue and i booked it!!
I don’t repeat gossip so listen very carefully!!

Ok, First point for you to try Keeraella is a link i've put on your wall if you haven't already tried it :)
We used this site to come across venues for us and which is where we found our venue. You can adapt the distance you want and just email or phone the places that take your fancy for costings :)
If that isn't much use let me know and I'll see where else there is.
