I have a strapless corseted dress,im not sure whether to wear a bra underneath? My boobs arent huge. What is everyone else doing? Also id really like to wear stocking and a suspender underneath just to make it extra special, does that sound weird as it will only be me who knows about it? (and h2b later on hopefully) lol.

Most women don't need a bra if their dress is properly fitted.

I probably would save the stockings till honeymoon. Think comfort and s3xy like lace knickers remember it will be a long day. Plus whenever I wear stockings they always pop undone.

I'd go for a strapless bustier or corset as It would look good as a complete package with the stockings & suspenders.

I am 5ft11 so have the issue of stockings pinging off! Nightmare so I prob won't be bothering with them. But if you feel more comfy / s3xy wearing it all for your h2b go for it.

I would say no if it is corseted. I have a strapless one as well and it is also corseted and have a rather larger set of babbalons and I am not needing one. You don't want to go doing too many layers.

As for stockings, I am wearing hold ups with a nice lace part on top. Or you can get knickers with the suspender parts already on them if you wanted that.

i didnt want to wear a bra but it helped my dress to stay up in the end as i lost a bit of weight but also it helped it keep its shape around the bust as the bra was attached to the dress rather than me i didn't feel like i was wearing one most of the time

I think I would wear a nice strapless bra just for that added protecting but thats me being very insecure.

This may sound and odd one regading suspenders - I was looking at some set and then started thinking they are nice but think could be a mission, how are we to pee having to detatch them arrange them and hodl a dress? I dont mind being a little personal with my BM as its my sister but there is limits?? Am i just being thick or is there an easy way ??

No idea what the top of my dress is like but the bridal shop lady said i wont need a bra... im not big busted anymore (unfortunately the one place i did NOT want to lose weight) but will no doubt wear a strapless one! I'd feel more secure and confident with one on anyway! I know your literally strapped in or buttoned in but still, for my own sake i think ill go for one!

No defo not being thick. I suppose if you have a suspenders belt, it's just your knickers to think about? I have to admit, totally dreading having to pee on the day!

Chicken fillets all the way for me! Losing weight is meaning they have shrunk dramatically. My dress will be fitted but dont want to look like an ironing board so will get them to sew something in x

I don't like going without a bra - don't like the flibberage that goes on (mind I'm 50 and not exactly small in the boobydoo dept).. my dress has a lowish back and you can see bra strap slightly so am going to see either (a) they can put a bra in it - it is boned though but not as much as strapless dress) or sew a loop at the back so bra strap stays inside.

boobies - whatever size they are they cause bother

I hadn't even thought of this, I have a corseted dress which also has a built in strap at the back, I was all geared up for going bra shopping but wondering if I need to now.
Just remember if you wear stocking and suspenders to do them up properly, my friend had them for her wedding and put the suspenders clips over her knickers, meaning when she needed to go to the loo we had to spend ages undoing it all so she could get her knickers down, make sure the suspender clips go under your knickers. sounds obvious but it goes clean out your head under the pressure of getting ready.

I'm wearing a corseted dress too, and I have large boobies, I'm really confused on what to wear, weather to wear a strapless bra or a corset, I'm being told by some to wear a strapless bra and by some to wear a corset!! I think I may go with the strapless bra and go to M & S and get measured properly for them, So I'm in similar predicament to you. I am wear stockings and garter, but I'm wearing stay ups, they are comfy and sexy, with a nice lace effect at the top :) no need for suspenders to keep them up, you can get them from primarni nice and cheap, and they are brill, I use them all the time when I'm wearing a dress or skirt going out and they do stay up all night, I'v worn them to a wedding earlier in the year and had them on all day and night, I never wear tights or ordinary stockings now, I only buy stay ups. But some primarani stores only do them in black or skin-tone so I'm going to shop around for them as I want cream or ivory. x

JennyY you are a GENIUS you have given me the answer I have been racking my brain for!!! I hadnt even thought of putting the suspenders under my knickers (u can tell i not very lady like and dont wear them that often). I was thinking the same was as your friend and that is what had me baffled, I couldnt figure out how i would get pants down and deal with suspenders and dres etc THANK YOU!!!!!

That will please my Oh when i tell him I have solved the issue out lol xxx

Donda I tried hold ups but my legs are to treetruk like and they either to tight or roll down so gave up on them x

if you do decide on a bra, the best strapless bras i have ever found are the bra of wonder. the "ultimate" ones where its like hands pushing you up. They are so good, and definitely worth the money! Dont buy it from high street shops though, they always charge £10+ there! I got mine online and paid about £26 xxx

the wedding dress shop said I don't need one even though I'm quite big so I've got a bandeaux bra just so I feel a bit more covered and supported we will see after my dress fitting if I wear it or not

The shop said a lot of people have cups sewn into their dress, so that's what i am doing, but if im not comfortable i will put a strapless bra on aswel! But im not wearing any suspenders/stockings, dont get me wrong i think they look great i just find them very irritating! so just a sexy thong for me haha:-)

I have to wear a very padded bra as the bust on my dress is a little big for me but the lady in the shop said if I get a good bra then they shouldn't need to alter it (hopefully!) x x

I have found most places advise you not to wear a bra underneath as the dresses fit better without, otherwise they can stick out slightly from your bust. If the dress is fitted well you can pull your boobs up into it anyway. The other option is to use chicken fillets that can be sewn in to give you a bit of omph without changing the shape of the dress on you xx
