    Hi Ladies,
I am quite a calm person but I do like thing certain ways and would probably say I am a bit of a perfectionist! I know that all that matters on the day is me and my gorgeous man but I wont deny everything from the venue to the little details needs to be perfect. We only have something like 6 weeks to go and I keep finding myself writing list upon lists! I am worrying that things will go wrong or I will forget something. I worry about things before they have even gone wrong which is stupid! Because we are getting married in a different county to where we live, we gave notice to one council who sent us the marriage licence then had to drop it off with the local registry office linked to our venue. But I keep having nightmares that they have lost it and we wont have a marriage licence on the day ahhhhhh!I am actually planning on dropping off our vow choices and music next week and double checking they have it!
We are due to pay the balance on most of the big things in the next two weeks so I think that will feel like a weight off our shoulders and in the process of doing that I have been making contact with all our suppliers, meeting the florist on Tuesday and the photographer at the venue in a few weeks which should be good.
For any body out there who has had their wonderful big day, any helpful hints for staying clam in the run up or anything you forgot which you wish you hadnt? xx

Nic, Its totally normal to feel stressed. I was a complete control freak and felt I was burning the candle at both ends until I reached a point of "well, if its not done now, then it doesnt matter" Yes you want it perfect and it will be - even if the sashes on the chairs are the wrong colour, or your handmade frame on your seating plan gets smashed - which happened to us!

The first glance between my husband and I on our day, our vows and us gripping each others hands so tightly meant so much more.

Just try to get some time to yourself and really look at what you're stressing about - it is worth it? If the answer is no because its whether ribbon is 6mm or 8mm then just relax!

Most important piece of advice I can give is savour every moment. Have a few moments to take it all in on the day - It'll be gone like a flash xxx

Hey things will work out. I've not been too stressed. i think when I've thought about things I've made lists of everything and ticked off whats done etc soit's a reminder of what's left to do.. The finer bits and pieces seem to be working out ok. Thing is I finished paying for everything today so have been going through all my wedding stuff getting rid of bits I don't need and found a pile of lists lol. plan some time off and make sure you get it. I've got 2 hectic days coming up but then have 2 days with nothing planned before the big day. I know I'll end up doing stuff but at least I can pick timings etc rather than having to squeeze things in and panic about rushing from one place to another.
    You'll be fine :) xx
