I think I have a problem... I love these online auction sites and sites that have everything under one cyber-roof... I may have gotten slightly hooked in a "1-year-to-go" frenzy!

I've bought mostly stuff for decoration like table crystals, signs, paper lanterns...

I've stopped myself buying the tiny jam jars I'm going to be using as part of my favours... so I have enough money to eat and love for the month! Lol! (It would have been almost £100 of jars as I need 360!)

I went for a bit of fantasy bridal shopping in the bridal shop too... I've paid for half my dress but really wanted to try
my new wedding shoes with it... that I bought crystals for the soles saying "I do" ( I know it's not very original now!) and think about my veil and hairstyle...

I paid half the money to major beauty session (It's actually going to take a day and a hald... I kid you not!) and have bought a Tiffany green (It's green...not blue!) zip hoody for the actual day itself so I can have my hair and makeup done in it and not wear a bar all morning or any tops that may have to go over my head and/or leave marks on my shoulders. I have also bought some "Bride to Be" Crystals to iron-on the back of it... I am so sad... like people aren't going to know I'm the bride! Haha!

Has anyone else been through a phase of this and when?!

I figure it's because I'm on leave and said I was going to dedicate it to wedding planning... I think I just went a bit overkill in a panic... That said I now have as a result:

    My dress,
    My shoes,
My makeup trial and day booked,
My other beautification sorted including facial, back massage, eyelash tint, brow shape, exfoliate and proper self-tan, manicure and pedicure plus a shrinking body wrap AND 6 laser lipo sessions (Thankypu groupon for the latter!),
    Wedding reception venue booked,
    Discounted bar rates sorted,
Wedding Ceremony venue - church sorted.
    Wedding car sorted,
Meeting with caterer and booked otherwise sorted,
    Part of wedding decorations sorted,
    Ordered sample Bridesmaid dresses,
    Investigated flowers,
    Investigated bands,
Booked appointment/meeting with potential wedding photographer,
Told MOHs who they are (both my sisters)
Sorted my save the dates...sending them elctronically after creating a PDF...
Created my wedding invitations to be printed later
Started working on my Order of Services
    Started working n my menus...

    Productive!

I am exactly the same - I go major shopping spree when I get onto those sites. I will just see stuff and think ooo that's cheap and buy it and before you know it you have spend hundreds.

Dangerous but also very good because look at how much you have done! :) xxxx

Ahhh I'm terrible.. When we first booked the venue I went on a major spree and ended up with £30 left 6 days after getting paid (I'm left with £250-300 ish after all bills are paid)... That was not a good month lol.. So I have really held back since then... Budgeted myself to £40 a month only !
I haven't bought any wedding stuff this month though as car needed MOT and been buying clothes for holiday :-)
I feel it is better than eating into a wedding fund though.. Our fund is purely for the big things, p.grapher, suits, ring, flowers etc.. Not small things like guest book, stationary etc.. xxx

i soooo did the same! but it kinda backfired as i changed my mind on a few things so had to resell and start again so i got a top up debit card where you send the money from your bank to it and only that is allowed to be used for anything wedding related. i top the card up whenever i have spare cash even if its just a tenner. then let it build or if i find somethingi like i know i can buy it without putting myself out of cash for the month. Its working really well i want to get the flowers to make my bouquets next so im loading the card til i have enough ;)

One BIG day will lead to lots of little happy days !!

I do as well but I give myself a half hour cooling off period before deciding if it will really go with the theme,if its not oTT etc....and then if I still want it I'll get it, if I answer mostly no's to my questions then I don't get it!

Oh no! Does that mean you get to go on another spree when they're back in stock?

Hahaha... hopefully... But have a feeling they might not go back in stock so finding a way to replicate them! They're just a string of 30 bright white LEDs with unstructured pearl garland attached... and i'm bundling it all in to a jar anyway.... so looking for cheap unstructured pearl garland on the bay and for 30 bright white LED sets.... Here's one I made earlier of final creation!
