I put the first lot on last night and can'r really see anything today but I'm so pale it's probably there just making me look less see through! I don't really like the smell tho. Also if i exfoliate every day when I put it on won't I just be starting from scratch every day?

Humm Maybe yeh, could you try to exfoliate every other day n see wot happens? You maybe better using medium to dark that seems to come out straight away but it did go streaky on me becos iam so pale, I do use light to medium and build it up over 3 days.x

I bought medium to dark cos I'm lazy and want it quicker. I can see some colour now actually and it's not too bad. maybe a light to medium would be better as I am quite fair

Maybe but it would take longer to build it up to a colour u want. I have both but tend to use fair 1 gradually.. Yeh it takes about 4 hours to show a bit then sleep in it if you want a real difference x

I think I'm resigned to going pale after all the posts on here. I'm using the gradual tanner thing as above but I don't plan on being bronzed now.x

as regards to exfoliating, yes it will diminish the colour result if you do it everytime, but generally exfoliation only removes the surface layers of dead and dry skin whereas moisturisers generally penetrate the first 4 layers of skin so you shouldn't lose all colour if you exfoliate each time, but it will ensure an even result. (had a chat with a dermatologist, hence got a bit sciencey) :)

I had my spray tan done the other week and it didn't come off on my clothes, but i will not be having one done for the wedding as I didn't like the way the colour was on my hands - too much - and as i know there will be pictures of my hands i don't want to risk having one in case it does the same....xx

i always get spray tans & do my own tan, they dont come off on my clothes but because its a corset & its going to be tighter than what any of my normal clothes are. i dont know if it may rub off with the heat x

spray tans will rub off more than any hand applied tans as the motin of rubbing in lets it soak into your skin more like a moisteriser, also i would say if u sleep with your tan on then wash it off the next morning it should last longer. you can get st tropez spray or rub on- but persnally i dont think there v good, theres so many shop brands to choose from my fave is amber solaire broze tan. also i would be carefull of strong soaps or deodrants as some can strip the colour off ur tan.( i was a beauty therapist and this is what i learnt- hpe it helps xx) x
