MrsRoss dont think the worst hun it could be something as simple as stress that can cause this to happen it happened to me it wasnt as long as 12 month but did go on for 12 weeks xx

    31st August 2013 I became Mrs Carrick
Cant wait to do it all over again in 2018

Look for the positive, you'll be getting some answers which is better than a bunch of unanswered questions. Sending positive vibes your way.

Are you seeing a specialist tomorrow? There are so many things that could be going on. You should start to get an idea of what's going on from the tests and then you can start a plan of action from then on.

I would really recommend seeing a specialist for peace of mind. Whatever happens tomorrow you should get a second opinion from an ob/gyn. GP's a great and all for the little things but for something like this you should see an expert.
It really irks me that everyone has to see a GP, one person cannot be an expert on the medical needs of individuals from birth to death.

    MrsRoss,

try not to worry too much. If the wprst comes to the worst ad sometimes you may be given awful news that you cant have children and when you finally resign yourself to that fact, it can just happen. My SIL were told her tubes were blocked and that she couldnt have children. She is now pregnant with her second child :o)

such shocking news and i really feel for you but dont give up as rachyroo says plenty have gone on to have children naturally with PCOS and if not there a lots of options. but right now you need to look after yourself take a while to let it sink in then get to work finding out how to give yourself the best chance or exploring other options and make sure you keep talking about it nothing worse than bottling it up. thoughts are with you hope it turns out not so bad xx

One BIG day will lead to lots of little happy days !!

Well I have been referred to the infertility clinic at the hospital, I asked how long it should take before I get my letter the dr says I should get my apt in 2 months. am told they will run tests there, possibly give me meds and if it comes to IVF, which I freaked and says that cost thousands!!!! Dr told me you get 2 free go's on the nhs when its your 1st baby so that always a bonus too x

I suppose at least its a bonus I now know whats wrong rather than planning every month and nothing happens and your wondering why!!

Well we shall see what happens, whatever happens looks like august is gonna be a busy month for me!!!!

Hun, I feel for you i really do.

I used to get ovarian cysts, they were so bad i was told my body thinks a baby is a bad thing and gets rid of it. Well i came round to the idea of never having children. I now have two gorgeous boys. Both pregnancies were extremely bad, my eldest was a triplet and had ttwo confirmed miscarriages during the pregnancy however my eldest hung on... He was a fighter! And a good weight at 6lb12!
My youngest was such a fighter i was actually allergic to him! But he hung on and was born late at a healthy 7lbs!

My old babysitter (she babysat me and my bro), has never had a period in her life! She was told she could never have children then one day she was taken to hospital with abdominal pains and told she was actually in labour! She now has 3 gorgeous kids! Even now she has never had a period!

It is possible! Just allow yourself to grieve then when the time is right you may well conceive!

I'm sorry you didn't get good news but I'm glad you are going to see a specialist. In the mean time take care of you - eat well, exercise and try to reduce stress levels.
I hope you get your appointment soon.
