we gave a all papers in Jun and priest said he will call if need something more.I email him yesterday and he said my partner need to come and discuss first marriage.why he not called before and said.I just wanna know if we can get married in church.its just frustrating I cant plan anything just wait.

if you want, you should make up a story of how bad the first marriage was. if you are set on a church wedding, sob stories sometimes have to be told. my friend was given this advice and i't lucky she was. the priest ended up being a really meany!!

yes I agree cup cake BUT if I dont call him he dont bother to contact me.he can called maybe already last month and say this.just this got my frustrating

I think its just a formality and nothing to worry about. Our priest was very laid back about everything, after all theyve done plenty weddings so think they dont have to explain themselves. Im sure it will be fine xx

I asked my priest about marrying me, and he asked me loads of questions then said ill be in touch beginning of 2012.... Turns out im not having a church wed now coz not getting married in my hometown!

Oh was meant say.... if he got married not in a church last time there is no probs.... and if they pencil your date in the diary they will only talk to you closer the time coz sometimes they get moved and new priest come so you would need explain things to the new one again, also personal details of yours they would forget over a few months!
