Best last song has to be This I promise you - by Ronan Keating Our last song will be on the stroke of midnight as our bus will arrive just after to take all our guests back to their hotels.

Has anyone been to Disney World Florida and watched the fireworks in Magic Kingdom - "Wishes". Well I had to buy the soundtrack whilst we were out there and my H2B has kindly agreed we can have the last track on the CD (Wishes) as our very last dance.
It's perfect, it starts with Jiminy Cricket saying: "Thanks folks, for making this little gathering of ours so extra magical and from our family and friends to yours, may all your wishes come true...so long" Then it goes into the song...."Starlight! Starbright! First star i see tonight, i wish i may, i wish i might, have the wish i wish tonight....."
easy runrig, loch lomond, taking bets on my aunt falling on her rear end again lol, infact ive got a lot of runrigs music throughout the day and gonna be on the video also......
awwww nicola that sounds lovely xxx
All the ways of my life id rather be with you.
Theres no way without you.

I love some of the choices here. We might go for maps by the yeah yeah yeahs, as i love the song, its cute, a bit different and my h2b is a little bit map obsessive! Show him an old map and he gets all excited pointing out old railway lines and stations that have closed!

Oh my god Sammi! It sounds like we are marrying the same man! Maybe they were seperated at birth? lol Steve is obsessed with maps too and when we first started dating everywhere we went he would tell me what branch line used to be there, what bit of trackway remains, viaduct etc.... Come to think of it not sure why I kept on going on these dates! lol He has a room full of bygone years of steam etc.

Hehehe I love it Stevie Dee, i bet he has tried to explain braking systems to you too....?!! We went to York recently to see a poster at the railway museum (David took the picture of the Harry Potter train that they used for their advertising campaign so of course we had to go- by train of course!!) he was like a kid in a sweet shop at the railway museum!!
Im currently getting the "one day sweetie can we have a train set up" conversation starter from him! He wants a mini steam train for the garden!

Oh no please don't tell me he has videos of garden railway too? Steve watches all the episodes over and over. His dream is to build a garden railway ....he says for our boys but we all know who it is really for. Then again our youngest son is train mad too. (Steve is so proud) We went to Didcot museum for our anniversary last year, his present to me...apparently. I actually really enjoyed it...secretly.
He has been mad on trains since he was little and used to visit a train theme park near where we lived called Dobwalls. He collects the model trains that used to run in the theme park. sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

My son had a project for homework to write about a famous person in the industrial revolution....Steve made him research Richard Trevithick so Steve could take him to the museum as an excuse.

Hehehe brilliant, ah its the life isn't it, being partnered to a rail enthusiast!! He doesn't own the garden railway tapes, in fact he would love them even more as he loves tape (he works in tv transmissions) he does however own a few of the drivers eye view dvds. Which is just footage of a train journey, no commentry just the one moving view, it makes me feel queasy! luckily they are now being sold!

And i love that you went to Didcot for your anniversary, David planned a special surprise day out for my Birthday last year, he took me to an abandoned tube station in London, Aldwych. it was amazing actually and great for photos but all of my friends were very confused as to how an abandoned station could be classed as a Birthday treat! lol. bless him!
CommentAuthorStevie_Dee
I know what moving train footage you mean...Steve watches them on you tube all the time. We had to buy a bigger bookcase as his other collapsed under the weight of train books thats how bad it is. He has written to a few of the authors asking if they have photos of the old south west branch lines. He wants us to get bikes so we can rediscover the cycle trails that were once branch lines, even though it saddens him to think theyve gone. Bless him

They would be like two excited children discussing trains! I even ended up buying a Hornby 423 vep for David for Christmas as it was what he really wanted. I can't complain though as he has been selling all of his old model trains to help fund the wedding. he sold quite a before before to pay for my ring, i told him not to but he said that i mattered more to him than Hornby!!
Night night :-)
