have you read 'a lovely love story' by edward monkton? It needs punctutation to make it more readable, but here it is:

The fierce Dinosaur was trapped inside his cage of ice.

Although it was cold he was happy in there. It was, after all, his cage.

Then along came the Lovely Other Dinosaur.

The Lovely Other Dinosaur melted the Dinosaur’s cage with kind words and loving thoughts.

I like this Dinosaur thought the Lovely Other Dinosaur.

Although he is fierce he is also tender and he is funny.

He is also quite clever though I will not tell him this for now.

I like this Lovely Other Dinosaur, thought the Dinosaur.

She is beautiful and she is different and she smells so nice.

She is also a free spirit which is a quality I much admire in a dinosaur.

But he can be so distant and so peculiar at times, thought the Lovely Other Dinosaur.

He is also overly fond of things.

Are all Dinosaurs so overly fond of things?

But her mind skips from here to there so quickly thought the Dinosaur.

She is also uncommonly keen on shopping.

Are all Lovely Other Dinosaurs so uncommonly keen on shopping?

I will forgive his peculiarity and his concern for things, thought the Lovely Other Dinosaur.

For they are part of what makes him a richly charactered individual.

I will forgive her skipping mind and her fondness for shopping, thought the Dinosaur.

For she fills our life with beautiful thoughts and wonderful surprises. Besides,

I am not unkeen on shopping either.

Now the Dinosaur and the Lovely Other Dinosaur are old.

Look at them.

Together they stand on the hill telling each other stories and feeling the warmth of the sun on their backs.

And that, my friends, is how it is with love.

Let us all be Dinosaurs and Lovely Other Dinosaurs together.

For the sun is warm.

And the world is a beautiful place

Getting Married ..
getting married is one of the most important things you can ever do .. this what happens

First the boy asks the girls dad if he will let him marry her,this is meant to be a surprise but the girls mum has normally found out first.

The dad always says yes specially if the boy has got lots of money.then he shakes his hand and tells hundreds of rude stories about him and the mum.

Then the mum and the girl go shopping for millions of new clothes.They get fancy hairstyles and the girl buys a dress that is much too long for her.

Just before the boy gets married his mates go out with him for a feast and they drink masses of beer and try to trick him into doing it with other ladies.

on the day you get married you have to stand up in front of all the people in the church and the vicar asks you questions to see how much you love the other person.

then you must both make some promise of love which go like this

(1) I promise this person that I will look after them for ever,specially if they get very poorly.
(2) I promise this person that I will not have rude thoughts about anyone else and that I will only ever DO IT with them EVER.
(3) I promise this person that I will share all my private things like secrets, money and sweets.
(4) I promise that I wont ever get cross of giggle if this person whiffs in bed or goes to the lav in front of me because I love all things about this person (even if they are horrid)

when the girls comes out of the church she throws her flowers up in the air and the first person to catch them will be the next to get married.

after the marriage everyone goes to a huge party with love pie and cuddle cake and such a saucy drinking potion that they all dance and kiss and happy around until the whole place is bursting with love.

right at the end the marrieds drive off to a secret place with all their presents where they go to bed and get ready to love each other for the whole of the rest of their life.

we are having the dinosaur...I love it...

Hi girls thank you so much i also spent most of the night looking for a reading and found this one i have changed the names to suite our wedding though what do you think :)

If you go to a wedding, here’s what it means
No one wears trainers and no one wears jeans
Your best new clothes are all that you wear
And everyone in your whole family is there
Even some cousins that you’ve never known
And the grown-ups all say “Oh, how much you have grown!”
So everyone’s sitting in one big room
(except my mum and Darren, the bride and groom)
Then all of a sudden things quieten down
And music starts playing and people turn round
And really slowly, my mum walks in
And she’s prettier now than she’s ever been.
She’s a bride and she’s really great looking today
(when normally she looks just kind of okay)
She walks in and stands with my grampa a while
As Darren her boyfriend, awaits in the aisle
His hair is all combed and he’s wearing a tie
And then my gran starts to sniffle and cry.
And now it comes time for the “get-married” part
The Registrar says that we’re ready to start
So she talks and she talks about serious things
Then their friend Scott steps up holding two rings
He gives one to the groom and the other to the bride
And with a nod and a wink he steps to the side.
Then my mum and Darren kind of look at each other
And another big sniffle comes from my grandmother
And my mum and Darren put on the wedding rings
And they talk and they promise each other some things
They promise that they’ll love each other a lot
And help one another no matter what
And be with each other the rest of their life
Then the Registrar says “Now you are husband and wife”.
Then everyone’s in such a big happy mood
And you go to a party with very much food
Where you dance with some grown-ups and drink some wine
And then do a conga-dance in one long line
‘till my mum and Darren drive off in a car
and everyone’s thinking how happy they are
So we all yell goodbye and throw handfuls of rice
Then the whole thing is over. Weddings are nice
