    I had an old (1964) borrowed sixpence in my shoe which covered three out 3/5. Just to make sure i was also wearing my Grannys wedding ring (which i always wear) x

    "Something old" symbolizes continuity with the bride's family and the past. I had a bracelet that was my grandma's and was given to her on her 18th which she gave to me on mine.
