so i had new= whole outfit lol blue= garter borrowed= mates necklace old.... i text my mum sayin i need sumthing old so she rings me ure dads got a brooch thats 50 years old ( he traveled france etc wen he was 15) says i shud put that on my garter!! awww my word tears was down my face lol

I think it's very sweet, you get to wear your dad's memento of his own adventure while you and h2b start your own adventures! Maybe you should have it as a family tradition :) it would be an easy one to keep!

Aww how sweet. When I mentioned about something old my nanny said she would give me her antique blue cameo :o Somethinbg old and blue, and the fact that I love cameos makes it even more amazing

just dont forget to put it on! i spent ages sewing my something borrowed onto my garter, then totally forgot to put it on! didnt remember until we were on the plane the next day....... mind you i forgot my flowers too. Was the photographer that pointed out I was about to walk up the aisle without my bouquet!
