i havent got a clue which car to have for the wedding, i was looking at traditional cars but there anywhere between £300-£400. i was talking to h2b and we both said we want something different, not your traditional wedding car but also something not many people have.
i cant have a limo because im not sure if they will be able to get to the church as its round a very tight bend. cant have horse and carriage as the church is 40 min drive away.
does anyone have any suggestions because i am truly at a loss. :(

Although they are getting more popular - they are still a little different - classic beetles are cool too but does depend how big your dress is as they arent v spacious

We are having a trike. H2b is in a bike club and they are all arriving on motorbikes, so seemed like an idea suited to us to have a trike, me and my dad will arrive on it and me and my husband will leave on it.

What I wanted is I guess really different. In my town live a real life size Lightning MCQueen and Tow Mater and I was going to ask the owner if I can rent his services. But boring old h2b is not having it.

The other cars I'd like would be a red or pink or turquoise 50s cadillac. Or a red 50s pontiac.

Though i asked for roald dahl themed wedding and h2b was having none of that..... think ill have to hire a hall and have roald dahl themed birthday party instead hahaha

lol. i jus told h2b about the mator and he was like 'that would be awesome wed never forget that.' lol.
i might just have to have a search online and see if i can find one.
roald dahl would be a great theme although i wouldnt really know what to choose, but would defo have to have something to do with the enormous crocodile lol

I was going to recommend a VW camper but someone beat me too it. We really wanted one, but we can't afford it, so we're not even having wedding cars. As we have hotel rooms at the venue, we're just getting ready there. Shame as i'd always dreamed of the fab car, but cut the budget at least x

I was thinking peaches with paper seaguls on wire for table decs...... we have a giant glass keg type thing that i thought we could fill with lemonade typy fizz and have "frobscottle" as our first drink.
Buffet labled with "roald dahls revolting recipes" lables.
giant paper mache lollypops, candy canes and sweets for decoration + chocolate fountain etc....
Cuddly animals (giraffe, pelican, crocodile etc)
Lots of bright colours and bubbles.

I know it's been mentioned before - but VW Campervans are good!!! We had one for our wedding last August and it was fantastic. There's plenty of room in the back - and even though we got married in Gretna, we didn't see another camper all day lol.

I went to a wedding event a few months back and they had a camper van, looked ace, and quite roomy too. No idea whow much it cost though as I've booked elsewhere. I've got an old Humber from ************ (his name alltogether withif you want to have a look). That's a lovely car. Can seat up to 7. My dress isn't going to be a big one so me and the bm's can all get in one car :) That's costing £350 i think x

I got a few friends who have lovely cars I'm having a Mercades SL Convertible, but my OH said that we could alway rent a show room car for the day, which I think is quite a good idea, u could get what every u liked, but now u said about the lighting Mc Queen car that would be sooo cool, my son is a huge fan of Disney cars lol xx

h2b is mates with a guy who has done his mk1 astra out to look like lightening mcqueen, and there was a ford scorpio parody one at ford fair last year. We'll probably be having 2 mk2 jags, friend has a white one and a red one, he'll drive one for us and his dad will drive the other.
