We've decided to kind of scrap giving individual favours! Instead on each table were going to put little bowls of chocolate, mints and rock (all heart shaped of course as hearts are our theme! :0) ) Good idea or bad idea? we just thought it would be cheaper and less hassle for us rather than thinking (and arguing!) about what favours to give the adults! We're going to give the children little activity bags and get an entertainer for them as theres going to be so many! :0| xxxxx

I think it's a good idea ... I was actually very against favors (becuase I was told they would be "expected") but in the end I gave in as they doubled up as place names xx

We are doing something similar. We are going to have candy trees (see my albums) for our centre peices, they hold individual chocolates. I am also thinking about putting individual sweets in them too, maybe boiled sweets, with different personalised wrappers on for the guests names on that table. Would have to be a last minute thing I think, unless we decided where everyone was going to sit early on.xx

H2B has been saying for the past few weeks he thinks that we shouldnt do favours! but i was like no no no we HAVE to have them!! it was my mum who came up with idea ( i havent told H2B that tho as he seems to think she interferes a bit to much! but at least shes interested and shes contributing so i have to at least listen to some of the things she got to say right?! lol) I'm glad u all think its a good idea! so u wouldnt be put out if u were a guest and didnt get an individual favour?? xxxxx

I love that idea - I toyed with it briefly, before changing my mind (for the millionth time!) If my guest list hadn't been swapped around to include far too many diabetics than should be statistically possible, I'd probably revisit it - I think it's a lovely alternative.
