    Hey,
    I havent been on for quite a few months, busy with one thing or another.
    Well i will get straight to the point i am after any ideas for favours not that im knocking the popular favours given these days im just wanting something a little different and still cheapish, have any of you got any ideas you'd like to share????

    I know what you mean, I was having this problem. I'v decided to do some biscuites in the shape of hearts and also wedding bells. I did start a forum on this, asking if poeple thought it was a good idea. People did post a few good things in there too, was making me want to change my mind.
    You could do a search on it, it was called 'do you think this is ok for favors'. Could get some good ideas from what the ladies put in there. :)

    I am using cancr research pins as favours by way of remembering my mum and raising money. If there is a charity you feel strongly about maybe you could have a look and see if they do a similar thing? costing me about £1.00 per person, with that i get the pin and a personalised table card.
    I have seen someone else on here somewhere is using the charity trolly token keyrings as their favours.

    were not having favours as such.... were having a sweetie buffet type thing with loads of old school sweets..... so were putting personalised sweetie pick and mix bags at the guests places so they can pick theyre own favours. if that makes sense?! :D

    thank you ladies, and that is it you have solved my problem def going with the charity thing, help for heros i think with me and my h2b both being ex military.........cant believe i never thought of this before hand thank you very much :) xxxx

    You could make them gingerbread shaped hearts and decrate them with icing. If you wanted to you could even add some ribbon and hang them up with the guests name and table number and double them up as a seating plan too.

    the charity idea is a good one and it will be a nice talking point

    cant wait to be Mrs Evans less than 3 weeks woooo
    start weight 10st 1.5 lbs
    weight now 8st 4.5 lbs
    total loss to date: 24.5 lbs now need to maintain!
