Something borrowed for most brides is probably an item of jewellery as you can't really carry stuff around.
Are you having something for old new and blue too?

For something old I once saw a brides shoe that had a small old coin in it. Something blue could be a blue garter lol something new could be new underwear which a bride would be wearing anyway

I haven't got a clue what my something borrowed is yet... was going to be a piece of my mom's jewellery however she wears gold and i don't!!

my something old is my necklace - my great grandmas diamond from her e-ring, mom got it set into a pendant for my 21st
my something new is my dress/veil/shoes/undies etc - pretty much standard 'new'!
my something blue is the lil blue bow sewn into the underside of my dress & possibly my garter - either blue ribbon, disneyfied one or
wba garter (OH is a baggies fan)

Just got to work on my something borrowed & not sure about sixpence in shoe yet!

I'm struggling with the borrowed too. My old is my wedding ring which was given to me by my nanny, my new is the standard dress/shoes/tiara and my blue is a necklace h2b gave me last valentines with a blue stone and I'm sure there will be some blue in my garter but I'm really struggling with what to borrow. I think I'll have to have a chat with my mum.

    I can't wait until 29/06/2013
The day I marry the man of my dreams!

Is there something you could borrow from you MIL?
Or perhaps there is something you're missing that I could lend you? :-)

I think that is something I'll bring up on the official 'swap' forum... where we can fulfil our 'something borrowed' from each other..? :-)

I can't think of anything borrowed either.. my mum died a while back and I don't have any sisters or female cousins - could ask my daughter but I'm not sure skulls and the like will go with what I'm wearing ;)
