Yes but you could have anything. A garter. Insoles. A gemstone in a hair piece. A necklace . I'm pretty sure your ring will be fine also :-)

Yes, it does count. Im having my sapphire engagement ring as my something blue (unless I happen upon anything else). If you really get stuck and blue doesn't go with your colour scheme you could have blue underwear?

My engagement ring is sapphire and I used that. I also had blue flowers in my bouquet as my colours were blue with silver and gold. As Steph said otherwise you can use something that will be out of sight, like knickers or a garter, or something that could be hidden in a shoe.

EC has just reminded me re shoes. You can get stickers for the soles and underside of your shoe to stick on with your initials and a love heart, lots o places doe these in blue like 3t5y, the bay etc.
