So was working a nightshift in a busy A&e dept when i gets a text off h2b whilst on break saying that someones trying to cancel our wedding!!!

To cut a long story short H2B's ex boss has tried and is still trying to cancel our wedding!! They fell out due to redundancies and he is no longer with the company. He had an anonymous text (we presume someone who he used to work with) telling us this and asking us to keep it confidential and not let on that we know!!!

Anyway, all this was at about 3:00 in the morning so there was absolutely nothing i could do. Next morning phoned the hotel and they HAD recieved a phone call trying to cancel. What kind of vindictive person does this? Its really not on. Spoken to the police and got an incident number n hopefully they are going to trace the number the text was sent from.

Weve also been in touch with his ex boss to let her know what is being said rather than accusing her and she categorically denies all knowledge but didnt seem shocked in the slightest. I swear I will get to the bottom of this, im am absolutely fuming an heart broken that another woman could try and do this to us. The woman is in her late 40ies for goodness sake!!

Contacted all the relevant places where we have booked and set up passwords and extra security. Sorry for the rant girls, just needed to get it off my chest!!

Luckily our venue are quite security concious and the vicaress has been more than helpfull, even providing us with her lawyer free of charge should we need her! x

Unreal, what a cow to try and do something like that. Now she knows you're on to her she will grow up and stop. Hope you're ok? x

The silly woman obviously has issues!! Im hoping we have put enough security in place that she cant do anything now.. only worry is she will tuen up on the day however she would be seriously stupid to do this given that h2bs second job is head doorman and a large quantity of the wedding party will be ppl that work in security!! any funny business and she will be thrown out!! xx

yes weve tried calling the number and also left a message but that resulted in another text saying that the person who had text was her friend and its actually her friend and not the person that sent the text. The text said that they did it because they thought it was morally wrong what was happening but urged us not to persue anything because it could cost her job ( i say her coz its all females that work at this company). If she didnt want us to persue it she shouldnt have sent the text. no one in their right mind could recieve a text like that and not do anything about it!! xx

i hope u find the person who done this or was planning on ruining your big day... it might hasnt been her but u never know so lets hope u find out soon and that they will stop!!! horrible just not right to do such a thing...

Oh my god what a strange thing to do. I mean what does she hope to achieve by all this??

When I was reading this I thought OMG It is like a story in a film, I hope you get this sorted hun...it's not on!!!

I have to say that I'm not shocked that there are people out there willing to do such a vindictive thing - and just this week I met with our venue's events manager and asked her to ensure that any telephone conversations are confirmed by email. Unfortunately, we're having a hell of a lot of trouble with h2b's ex-wife at the mo including her making very nasty remarks about the two of us in tweets and frankly we wouldn't put anything past her. I would suggest you also ring round your other suppliers and make sure that they always follow up if anything was called in x

How immature and vindictive! Glad you've been able to keep things on track, and well done for being so calm. If I found out someone was trying to cancel my wedding, I'd go ballistic!

I cannot believe anyone could do such a thing!! I am in shock! If you are worried about her turning up, warn the hotel and show them a picture and if she does show up get them to deal with her and her to leave, because it is their venue they can throw her out.

I hope the police find her and deal with her.

OMG that is terrable i hope you find out for sure who it was i cant belive someone would be that venditive atleast you found out with enough time to stop her the security passwords and that are great my venue done the same thing with us when we booked gives you a little extra peace of mind I wouldnt try to find out who it was that sent you the text i would simple text back saying thank you just incase it was the person that had done it themself just to see your reaction you have some very unhinged people out there I know only too well you have no idea the things my ex done when i left him xxx

Thanks ladies.. not sure how i have kept myself so calm. With my profession I cant afford to be kicking off but she will get whats coming to her.. karma always has a way round. The email following a phonecall is a good idea, defo take that on board. On a positive note h2b is taking me out to a restaurant for a nice meal and then off to the cinema tonight. looking forward to opening all my prezzies tomorro :) thanks for all your lovely comments. means alot xxx

at least you have passwords set up now but i can't quite believe anyone could do that let alone someone who actually has some life experience under her belt. What did the police say, i have to say that could be a very weird call. x
