It was mine and h2bs engagement party last night and we both had a ball, I felt amazing I had a woman do my hair and make up and I'm going to go with her for the wedding it was just so natural looking and my hair felt so light.
We went back to Alan's aunts house after the party and everyone was having a blast u til the auntie told me she didn't trust me wtf I said to her if you don't trust me why invite me back to your house. I was fuming the woman hardly knows me stuff happened between her and oh mum and she wasn't part of that family for years .
How it came about was a few months ago I was speaking to her daughter after a birthday party and the mum was showing my SIL around the daughters house and just left me sitting there and the daughter came over and said why you not going and I said I wasn't asked, so the daughter showed me around but I had said I'm not sure if the mum just didn't like me or just didn't know me. Anyway she's went back to her mum and told her thins and from that she doesn't trust me.
Sorry not really expecting a reply I just had to right it down somewhere or it would eat away at me, I think I'm one of the most trust worthy people it you could ever meet so for her to say that has actually hurts me and oh has just said forget it it's ..... She likes drama and attention (because she basically told me my mil doesn't like me either)

To be honest ... Apart from the aunt saying she doesn't trust you , I didn't actually follow the rest.
I wouldnt worry yourself. I wouldnt give a fig if OHs aunt didnt trust me or MIL didnt like me, they dont have to see me after the wedding!

Her and her sister my fmil fell out years ago so she wasn't in our life so doesn't know me.
The reason she doesn't trust me is because I said to her daughter I didn't know if she didn't like me or just didn't know me.

I got She doesn't trust you because you were left on your own in the house one time and had to be shown around by someone's daughter n that daughters been 2 faced and gone back bitchin basically lol Just ignore it You had a good night till then my FMIL bought a new engagement ring for my engagement party and whenever people asked to see my ring she'd jump in and show her new one!!! Wanted to smack her dread to think what's she's going to do only wedding day lol xx
As for mil I couldn't care less about her I fell out with her about 18 months ago and she tried to split me and oh up, but I thought we were getting past that and I put up with her for Alan's same.
