I am trying to incorporate my passed family members into my wedding. My great aunt loved red, so I am having a single red candle floating on water. My great nan, I didn't know her but my grandad idolised her (he was an only child and his dad died in the navy when my grandad was about 5) so, as my bouquet is going on his plot after the wedding, I am putting her favourite flowers in my bouquet. Now I hit the problem. My great grandad (I did meet him, he lived to 92) loved vintage cars. I'm not going to be able to hire one as we don't need it and it costs too much money just for it to sit outside the venue and just be for pictures. And my grandad loved playing the guitar. So I need to know how I can make these a part of my day in a cost effective way without it looking cheap and tacky. thanks. xx
Oh and sorry for the essay. xxx
I can't believe we've actually done it
I am now Mrs Limara Tester

Could you incorporate the vintage car theme into the table plan or table name cards/places maybe? You could see if you could get toy cars and put them on the tables somehow, depending on size and cost of course! x

How about getting a small vintage car and a small guitar (models) then put them on a layer of your cake... x
