Okay so my back is near on screwed to the point where I havnt worn heels for as long as I can remember but our dresses deserve some pretty shoes so pain is a must.

The wifey has fallen in love with these converse to go with her dress which is fine as she isn't exactly girlie so I'm pushing my luck with her in a dress let alone heels too.

I however want to feel like I have skinny legs and to shoe the dress off.. Option one I've been quoted £300 for.

Option two... No idea on price but like the colouring on these.

Is it worth forking out for shoes that I will only wear once? The pain isn't the issue as wedding day equals bed rest next day anyway due to illness but ahhh I don't know what to do. HELP?

If it's something that's really important to you then go for them, regardless of cost (just obviously make sure you can afford them and you're not going to stress yourself out money-wise). I am a big shoe person so I appreciate how a pair of shoes can make you feel absolutely amazing.. But if shoes aren't really that important to you, then I'd say £300 is a hell of a lot to spend on them.

You also shouldn't be in pain on your wedding day, you should be as comfortable as possible so you can fully enjoy every minute of it! X

Totally agree, I would pay £300 for shoes but no one is going to see my shoes I would need o have the budget for them and also need to be comfy.

I'm pretty sure I will be able to get away with kitten heel size as I want to show them off, I can't see 3/4 dress looking right with flats after all.

So torn o.O might have to buy a cheap pair and trial them for a party before and see how I cope
