Wedding Forum - So I just managed to get a tentative date...

Decided to speak to the registry office, to see what we'd need to bring down and when we can get an appointment to give notice.

She said we needed to give a date before making the booking, so I've got us pencilled in for Wednesday 27th June at 3:15pm... we're hoping to fly to Spain on Monday so I think that would give us enough time to get everything arranged without too much hectic and crazy!

Should be an interesting conversation with Peter when he gets home... he has no idea, we hadn't really settled on an official UK date but I had to give something.... and we always wanted a Wednesday!

Also spoke to the MIL2b on the phone, she's spoken to the florist and everything is good there, we just have to go in when we arrive in Spain and get everything chosen and they will do it for Thursday. She's also on the hotel/accommodation search for our wedding site, she's going up to take photos of the ceremony site soon and we already have a few confirmed guests.

Bloody hell I need a glass of wine now....

I am crazy excited, especially now we have had family saying how they would really like to be there every step of the way. I didn't expect many people would come to the UK part, because the emphasis is on our blessing etc but already people have said they will be at both.

So lovely of them... and yeah, I am sure Peter will be very shocked but I think it's a good date!
