I did fancy a day out but then started looking at costs and worried people wouldn't be able to afford it, so went for cheap and cheerful, doing a robbie williams tribute nite in a hotel, with a 3 course meal and disco after. Thought that was good for the mix of ages going! Done them all goodie bags as well filled with nice bits :-)

Hens are so expensive its a joke!
I went for a spa day but we get a treatment, lunch dinner with coctails and breakie the next day for £115 so didnt think it was too bad then my best friends have a suprise for the evening lots of drinking and dancing i hope!
Goodie bags what a wicked idea! really want to do something to thank my best friends as they arnt bridesmaids due to our wedding being in Las Vegas My MOH done nothing to help at all!

That's a great price! And lovely they have a surprise.
Got the goodie bag idea from a wedding mag, i've got some real bargains, done them pink gift bags (only 3 for £1) and filled them with lipglosses, face masks, choccies, sweets, party poppers/blowers and some pamper things. You can really personalise them, I'm printing stickers for each with names on and found badges online i'm ordering with names as no one knows each other. That's a great idea using it to thank people.
Its amazing how many people are finding bridesmaids not massively helpful.
A vegas wedding sounds fab! We're visiting there as one of our honeymoon stop offs, can't wait.
