We decided that we wouldn't have a honeymoon as we have children and we would feel bad leaving them for so long.

We we looking in a travel agents and H2B said he was going to treat us to a cruise as our honeymoon. We wont be able to go straight away because I will be starting my 3rd year at uni and he is in the busy period in October. Even though its a while off Im really excited lol. I have never been on one before, its always been my dream.... eeeeeeek

Oh how lovely....we're going to save our honeymoon for our first wedding anniversay (mainly due to lack of funds) but at least it gives us something to plan for after the wedding lol x

So jealous i want to go on a cruise been trying to convince H2B. We have decided because we dont want to leave the kids they will be coming on honeymoon with us although as yet we havent decided where. We cant afford wedding, honeymoon and family holiday all in a year. think would be weird without them anyway would miss them to much

I think we might be doing a cruise and stay thing, 7 nights around the med and 7 night in palma, worried about the general age of the cruisers though lol, but I'm excited to see so many things, I love italy so hopefully it will live up to my expectations :)

oooh should be so much fum we're planning one for our 5th anniversary cause we want to send the kids to the caribean then go on the cruise meet the kids there spend a week then fly back to the UK so gonna need to save a pretty penny to do all this

Well as some of you know we got a quote for our honeymoon next year. An 11 day cruize for the 31st Oct £799pp with a free upgrade to a nicer room. Free transport to southhampton.

Well more exciting news. H2B has recieved permission off work to take the time off during his busy period. I was so shocked but his dad is giving him the time off. I am really really excited now. Going to book it on saturday thats if the offer still stands.

hi hun so happy for you and excited.me and my h2b are going on a cruise for our honemoon next year.im nervous cos of the age range and what to wear.we are getting some free on board credit, which will help with the drinks.lol.just check that you get some poss?my son who will be 16 wants us to let him have the house for the three weeks.....not sure.

Have you got family or friends close by that can keep an eye if you leave him at home by himself? My son is 17 but when we went on honeymoon I convinced him in the end to stay at his grandparents nearby but call home a couple of times during the week. Not that I didn't trust him, but.........lol

hi mym72,have my sons dad near by but he wants me to trust him at home,i do but kind of worry...clean clothes,not loads of junk food and parties.you know once word gets out everyone will be round.def puttin the dog in kennels.lol.
i also feel awful leaving him.only ever not seen him for a week.x

Its a a cruise around spain and the canary Islands Gem..

Im worried about leave my two as they are just babies really. Josh will be in reception and Leah will be in Year 2 at primary. They wont be left alone but I have never been away from them for longer than 2 nights and I really dont want to leave them for 11 days I will feel like the worlds worst mum.... I am having second thoughts about it now!!! Not so excited anymore....

ITS BOOKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its not the original one we was offered as it seemed far too long to be away from the kids. So we have booked a 7 night cruise around the greek isles.... We fly to Venice and board there. We then travel to Bari Italy, Corfu, Mykonos, athens, Dubrovnik and then back to venice. I always wanted to go to venice, its like a dream come true.....
