I bought 2 bridesmaids dresses from ebay a while ago and there were absolutely beautiful. So i returned to the seller to buy another 2 for my 2 adult bridesmaids.
The dresses are relisted but without the custom made option, so i sent the seller a message asking if they could make them custom size and if so i would buy 2.
I got a response from the seller saying no problem send the measurements, which i did and got another response asking when the deadline was and suggesting i take a lace up dress.
I put the order in, paid for them both and resent the measurements along with a message to seller.
Today i have recieved a message telling me that they dont make custom dresses anymore and could they send me standard sizes.
I replied saying that standard sizes wouldnt fit, asked them why i had previsouly been told no problem before ordering if this was the case and asking them to refund me.
I got another reply telling me that they will relist custom made but not yet, and that this time they would make the dresses to my measurements but not the length as they use a different method. Telling me i would have to make those adjustments myself.
I have emailed them back again, telling them that the standard size dress in large would be far too long (why is it assumed that bigger boobs means longer legs!!?) and asking them would i be expected to get it taken up as i was reluctant to spend the money on dresses when i would then have to pay for alterations. I pointed out the fact that i had stored messages from them confirming there would be no issue to custom make dresses before the order and that previously i had been very happy with their service and product but that of they were unable to provide what i was paying for then i would require a refund and would spend the money elsewhere on dresses that would fit my girls.

    Am so annoyed about this!!

Thats terrible service! Did you pay through paypal, I'd definitely say that with the proof you have you will be able to file a disagreement and get your money back. I hope you get it sorted and get the dresses you want hunni x

If the seller isn't playing fair then open a case against them. It always gets things sorted! You may even be lucky to have the dresses and still get a refund.

I am going to give them till tomorrow morning to reply to the message i sent, if they cant do the length i want i will be asking for a refund, if need be i will open a dispute with ebay. Yes i did pay via paypal, and i just re read through all the messages incase i read something wrong, but no... i did get a message saying no problem and even after i sent the measurements i didnt get told anything about the length being a problem until this morning..... i paid for the dresses monday evening.
