Ok so I found an amazing makeup artist and booked her for my big day next year as she is more then willing to airbrush the whole bridal party, which by the way is 9 of us, for only £420 now I think thats an amazing price and am more then happy to pay it. I said to my bm's that I'm having a trail and they should to,but it would cost them £40each and if at the end they were not happy with it, I would gladly give them back the money they paid for the trail but then that would mean they have to do their own makeup on the day, rather reasonable I think. Now, they all agreed and said that was fair but now my MOH is telling me that one of the girls has sent out a mass email to all the others saying that she feels that seeing as it's my wedding I should not only pay for there hair and makeup on the day but for the trial too and how they should all get together to tell me this as it's not fair to expect them to pay for anything. I am absolutely p****d off at the minute as it seems this girl always has something to say, I've had words with her before about the way she behaves and now it seems she's up to her old sneaky backbitting ways, I don't wanna kick her out of the bridal party as she and I go back to primary school days but she really has gone to far this time....what do I do???

I think she should have come to you herself with this rather than going to someone else....I think u should speak to her and tell her if that's how she feels then she can do her own makeup then she won't have to contribute anything to the cost at all x

Well, were paying for our BM's hair/make up, should they decide to have theirs done, but thats another story...
What you really need to do now, As KelBel as quite rightly pointed out, is tell her that you would have had more respect for her had she come to you directly, instead off mass-mailing her fellow BM's. That's the rub. Given the fact there's nine of you (9x40= £360), That, on top of the £420 is a stretch too far. I would suggest they meet you half way and you jointly cover the cost of the trial(£180 for you, £20 for each BM)
Your main issue however, should be your MOH, and her going behind your back.

none of my girls would even dream of saying or doing anything like that.
Id get all of the together and ask if they have a problem with it. If they do, then they simply don't have a trial and they run the risk of not liking their make up on the day.

This is the thing, I did let them all know that I think a trial is best and asked them all if they would mind paying for it, they all said they would pay for there own trails as I am paying for everything else. I also told them that they didn't have to have a trail but it is a really good idea that they do and even told them if they don't like it or decided not to use the lady I've chosen that I would give them back their £40 but then their makeup would be their responsibility as I'm not then gonna go running around trying to find someone else. She has been trouble from the word go and I've spoken to her about this before so I'm both shocked and really angry about this email!x

I think it is probably best to find out exactly what was said. She might not have been doing it in a malicious way, she may just have been seeing if her point of view was Ok before she said anything. If you speak to her she should be able to explain herself. X

ok, so this morning my cbm Lisa forwarded the email to me, she really didn't want to but she feels that I should know what this girls is up to, and I'm furious!! Not only dose she feel that they shouldn't have to pay for their trails but she feels that the dresses I've decided on for them are, and I quote, "tacky and unattractive" and the color scheme is "unflattering". She also proceeded to be nasty about the fact that I'm having a horse and carriage saying, "who the bloody hell do I think I am anyway Katie Price?" and that she's "not gonna take part in the butterfly release because I should have respect for the fact that she's afraid of butterflies" as well as, "it's not all about me and I need to be told that". she then finished this email by putting she wants them all to come over to hers so that they can all sit down and go over what they like and dislike about this whole wedding make a list then bring it to my attention......pissed off is NOT the word, fuming is not the word an atomic explosion couldnt even begin to explain the mass of devastation I feel real now! Not only do I not want her in my wedding, I don't want her in my life period!!

What I would do, is let them have their "meeting" - and then turn up unannounced, waving that email in her face asking what the hell does she think she's playing at. THEN they can "bring it to your attention" as they put it.
Kudos has to go to your CBM for having the guts to forward the mail onto you though.

I've been in floods of tears since reading it, some of the things are so hurtful and mean. I wanna drive over to her house and kick her butt. Everyone else IS happy. I choose the color I choose because I have a mix of white and black in my bridal party and that color looked lovely on all of them, and the dress because it looks nice on all of them, I mean she aint exactly a size 10 (she's a heffa) I thought about her when choosing the dress and to my face she said she was happy with it but clearly she's been holding a grudge x

Honestly, firing her in front of everyone is no more than she deserves. you have to be hard-nosed about it unfortunately, and not dwell on it. I lost a friend of 22 years recently for a similar situation (not wedding related) and I don't miss him in the slightest.
What you need to do now, is find out when this "meeting" is from your CBM.

Just bide your time. Find out where and when your bridesmaids are meeting up and at what time, turn up unannounced and fire her in front of everyone. not only will you feel good, but hopefully your CBM and other BM's will realise the sort of person she really is!
It'll also give you a chance to thank your cBM for forwarding that email onto you..
EDIT Totally agree with mrsDeaton! but whatever the outcome, get everyone together, fire her, and ask them if they have any other issues.
