I decided not to have BM's because I couldn't deal with behaviour like this, and I have a friend who likes making everything about her, though in no way as horrid as this one! Glad you feel more at ease now, enjoy planning YOUR wedding! ;D xx

No but she messages me this morning saying that she thinks it's a good idea that we talk, just the two of us. Needless to say I told her that wasn't gonna happen LOL xx

My only experience... so far (there are a few similar was but now isn't a friend situations pending lol) was very recently. I made every effort to keep in touch and she just didn't care unless it involved her. Would stop me in the supermarket pretending to be best of friends again. Basically picked me up and put me down when she wanted if you get me. I seen her 3 weeks ago in a cafe, before she had time to stop me and bore me with her life story (I never get a word in edgeways) I just said "hi" side stepped round her and sat with my friend and carried on having a good ol' gossip with someone who actually cares about me.

May not seem like much but this so called friend was always jealous of sharing me with people and likes to be centre of attention. So for me to do that to her meant that not only did she get basically ignored, but she also seen that I have real friends and don't need her lol. While with the "hi" part I still have the moral highground and don't look like a rude biatch lol.

Well done! You can now plan away with the support of your friends/BM's without her at the back of your mind and her generally being a cow!

Update::
Ok so yesterday I went to meet the snake for coffee and a chat about what went down and how we got to this place in our "friendship". Anyway we met and I was expecting her to say she was sorry for what she had done and at-least acknowledge what she had done but no such thing, can you believe she tried to turn it round and play the victim!!!
Her excuse for doing what she did and saying the things she did never even came to light all she kept saying was how betrayed and hurt she was because the email was sent to me to read, and how she was stabbed in the back. When I asked her if she had any remorse for the things she said her reply was, "No because she was justified at the time for saying those things as she was angry at me because all I do lately is talk about my wedding and she feels like it's not about US anymore but just all about ME and my fiancee and new friends and I've been showing off!!" ( by this time she was in tears....no wait, FORCED tears).
At this point, me, being completely over it just said, " You know what Ebony, I'm done, I have taken up for you ever since we were kids and the fact that you don't see even see how wrong you are in this just shows me what a self-centered, jealous little child you really are, I shoulda been done with you years ago. Good luck in life and I hope you do eventually find someone to make you happy, Goodbye" and I just got up and left her there....
I'm glad we did it in the coffee shop as there was no big scene which is typical of her and I was able to be the bigger woman and just cut her off once and for all xx
