Just wondered if anyone else has been having trouble getting rings for smaller fingers (H). Went to Ernest Jones as that where engagement ring was from and they don't stock/manufacture any other than one that looked like a keyring on my finger! Am pretty annoyed as on their website they stock a beautiful ring in that size so I haven't rushed to get it ordered as figured I could wander into a shop and order anytime. Now I've spent the last month looking for one I like as much as that one but without success. But when I ordered the one off the interent (and missed out on the discount store was offering from buying engagement ring from them) it has arrived and one of the diamonds looks black/dirty?! I'm thinking now I'll pay whatever just to have a ring to get married with!! Sorry for the rant!! But any suggestions gratefully received (and avoid Ernest Jones if you can, especially Bristol store!!)

I'm a size G and my boyf got my engagement ring off the internet - can put a link on your wall if you would like. My wedding ring is being made at a local jewellers and they are both really good cos they take into account the amount of gold and charge accordingly not like some that have a standard cost even though the ring has half as much gold - that really annoys me!! xx
my engagement ring is an I as thats the smallest H Sameul do, its alright in the summer but in the winter when my hands are cold it slips round all the time so the diamonds are on the inside of my hand its sooo annoying. i'm def gona look for a wedding ring in a size H even if i end up getting it made xx

hummm pinkalice mine does this too even in summer but it fits i wonder why it spins i gotta pull it over my knuckle but it fits base of my finger fine maybe im a size smaller lol what u think xx
CommentAuthormrs pinkalice
maybe its coz we have weird shaped fingers where the ring has to be a certain size to get over our knuckles but then once its on our finger is narrower so it spinds round haha x

I just had my engagement ring taken down 4 sizes at beaverbrooks, no extra cost and now have no worries about loosing it. They sent it off to their best goldsmith who knew the ring and it was back within 2 days (i did miss it terribly tho)
I'm now a married woman
I have a gorgeous husband
Whats to do now

im a bit rubbish when it comes to official jewllers ring sizes, as we bought our engagment rings off a bespoke jewlerry market stall [its not as tacky as it sounds, honest] so no idea there. BUT what I can say to Pinkalice is that the H2B has really skinny fingers and huge knuckles, so the jewlerry designer had to build him a ring that could be tightened when on the finger. We knew we wanted "russian wedding bands" [three interlocking rings that you roll over one another] and the incredibly genius jewller came up with a way to get the third loop tightend when it was on the hand. He can now loosen it when he has to take it off [he has sorisis so has to put lots of creams on his hands etc] and tighten it back up so he doesnt loose it. Seriously ladies, anybody near the Essex Suffolk border should pop to Subury on a Thursday or a Saturday [Market day!!] and speak to the little jewllerry stall with the blonde chick, and the bloke; theyve got alot of siver on the table infront of them, and you can buy bespoke or standard. Enjoy <3 xxx

you can always get a ring resized they say you should only go up and go down by one.. but hey who sticks to rules.. my other half brought me a ring that was a size N or M and samuels lol resized it for nothing down to a i ish still to big but its okay.. but the thing you mite have to relise is you mite lose the hallmark i have on most rings .. so just find a ring you like and get it resized :D

I am also a H and h2b got my ring from H Samuel (it was a suprise for Xmas) They only stocked it in bigger sizes but said if we took it back to any H Samuel store with the reciept i could get it resized for free (which we did).x

Thanks everyone - glad there are answers out there!! Unfortunately they won't resize the one I like as it has diamonds in it and that can loosen the setting. Think i'm going to order another one from the internet and return my 'dirty diamond' one and hope the next one is better. If not, will just have to wear a keyring after all!!!
