Im having a church wedding. The church can only hold 80 but our guestlist is 100. We are going to have a couple rows of seats and the rest standing. How can I put this nicely on my invites?

You might need to check fire regulations before doing that. The 80 may mean that 80 is the legal limit for how many people should be in the room. Otherwise, I would say that due to space there will be very limited seating and you would be grateful if everyone is prepared to stand, so seats can be made available for those who cannot stand. Then you'll need to put something in to tell guests to let you know if standing for 40 minutes to an hour is a problem. You might also need to think about limited readings/sermon/music so that the service is not unnecessarily long. If it's Anglican there will be a set structure but you can still ask for the sermon to be kept short and to just have one short bible reading.

I was thinking the same as EC.
A family friend had the same problem. They asked some guests that although had a day invite, because they were slightly less close than others to not attend the church ceremony and just come to the full reception.

Would it be easier to maybe set up a live link in The grounds / church hall / side Chapel ?
