Did the chips last night, they were great, egg,chips and beans on a diet....yummy!
Today is a bit of a challenge as Im going to pizza express with a friend for lunch (suggested an alternative place but she has vouchers to use) and its eldest daughters birthday, we allow all the kids tea of choice for birthdays and shes chosen indian takeaway! I know I can have chicken jalfrezi and boiled rice for 9 syns so will have to make a good choice for lunch. Im thinking tomato based pasta with no cheese maybe??? Any ideas gratefully received!

you can ask them to do a chicken and pesto pasta with no sauce they are normally really good at changing things they also do the leggera pizzas now where they take some of the dough out and replace it with salad only 500 calories xx

Hi Twirler,
I had a pasta dish in a tomato based sauce with spicy beef and peppers and asked for it without the cheese.... counted my healthy extra B as olive oil as im guessing theyd have used some so I think that was ok???
Had chicken jalfrezi for daughters birthday tea.... only had half a portion with free boiled rice but counted the full 9 syns listed so Im hoping I havnt underestimated the syns.
Back on the wagon properly today... I dont have enough time left to slip up!

I lost another pound last night really pleased :)
I have done 2 of the recipes from this months magazine the last 2 days.... yesterday the sausage, mash and onion gravy and today the herby salmon fishcakes.... have to say girls I wouldnt bother with either again but theyre the first ones we havnt really enjoyed and Ive tried a lot so cant complain.

I was thinking of following the weekly plan in the magazine for a week to the letter hoping it might give me a good weight loss?
Im facing a tough weekend as me and h2b are away in scotland making all the final wedding arrangements so will be eating out thurs/fri/sat I find it hard away from home but dont have long enough left to afford a weekend off :((

Breakfast Hi5 bar (h.e. b) Lunch: veg noodle soup and bread (1 slice 2nd h.e as on green day!) Dinner: leek pea and pasta from last months magazine..... was really lovely, much better than it sounds! (2 1/2 syns)

hi girls, i joined s/w last wednesday, and so far so good! starting weight 12 stone 4 i've tried the chicken tikka masala in the 7 days to success book! wow! it is amazing, almost better than the real thing (but not quite lol) but it really is lovely.

Been weighed tonight and I lost 3 pound boohoo, can't believe I have lost and eaten so much! I weighed a kettle with water in it, carried it up and down the stairs and my arm was aching!!! Amazing

Totally agree I have the same way of thinking and in my head as long as I figure the odd weight gain due to having fun then I won't lose interest we have 4weeks now of nothing planned so gonna hammer the weight loss and H2B is doing a 4week detox so no alcohol either happy days
the best thing is that all my slimming world coach says is did y enjoy ? Yes? Right back to basics then lol she is fab x

Leek and Pea Pasta
Ingredients: 14oz /397g Fusili pasta 1 oxo vegetable stock cube Fry light 2 leeks thinly sliced 9oz/225g frozen peas 4oz/113g philadelphia light garlic and herb soft cheese salt and freshly ground black pepper
Place pasta in a large pan add the stock cube and boil for 10 mins. Meanwhile spray a non stick pan with fry light and fry leeks and peas for 10 mins. Drain the pasta reserving 4oz/113ml of stock. Mix the philadelphia with the stock and combine with pasta leeks and peas, season well and serve!
This is for 4 people and works out 2 1/2 syns on extra easy (so if you have half like me remember to count 5!!!)
