Finally feel like I've sorted myself and get back to it now. Only had 6 syns yesterday and I', aiming for as few as possible today too but I am going to my Nana's for tea and so I don't know what she is cooking!
CommentAuthorshellay
i try to aim at about 6 syns maximum a day in the week, then i have a couple of glasses of wine at the weekend, so have 12 syns a day then, i dont feel that i need any more than that in the week, as i dont seem to miss anything, i doubt after having a good loss last week though that i will lose any this week :) x

i was ok at first it was just one day last week and mon and tues this week. maybe i didnt eat enough! x
Anyone know what th best thing to eat at Zizzi's would be on SW? I know I can do fexi-syns but would still rather go for something healthier in the pasta/pizza range!
CommentAuthorshellay
i went there last friday, i had the tomato soup and then the chicken in bacon with green beans and potatoes, but then i had zabalgione, which was definitely lots of syns, but i still lost 3lb this week as didnt drink alot. Pasta or risotto is good, perhaps dont have your a or b to start off with it may help with the cheese or milk that may be in a sauce :) x

CommentAuthorfuture-mrs-watson
I went for the new Chitarra pasta (uber thick spaghetti with seafood and tomato sauce). Then shared ice cream with my H2B. No starter but did have a big glass of wine! Not sure how many syns but I figure it could have been worse!
CommentAuthorYourFirstDanceBride
DOing really well so far today, only 1/2 a syn! Little pots of Hartley's sugar free Jelly are an excellent low syn treat!
CommentAuthorshellay
i am planning syn free food all weekend:-
Todays lunch - burgers and chips todays dinner - red pepper soup with roasted potato skins, salmon fishcakes with syn free tartare sauce with potato and spinach bake, then orange cheesecake for pudding.
Tomorrow dinner - quick pea soup, spicy bean casserole and stuffed peppers and egg custard for dessert (using the milk from our healthy a) Tomorows tea - vegetable quiche.
All of these are syn free, and out of the recipe books, looking forward to trying them.
last night we have the three colour carbonara, it was heaven and totally syn free.
then we can save our syns for a couple of glasses of wine or lager.

Not been on here in a while so sorry for the late reply. I hadn't been eating any syns as I was just eating the free food and nothing but the free food but I think it was too much carbs rather than the fruit and veg as I was doing the green days and eating lots of jacket potatoes and pasta. I'm going to try and count for a while as I lost a stone in a month doing it that way.

Well done ladies :) We're all doing great. H2B and I had our weigh in tonight and I lost 3lbs (9lbs in total in 3 weeks) and Neil lost 1.5lbs (7lbs in total in 3 weeks). We are both over the moon. Had a bit of a cheat tonight and we shared a calzone but I now feel extremely sick :( I've now got my craving out of the way and I'm happy. Back to the diet tomorrow :) xxx

Mini me, i am just the same. I havent joined and i dont attend meetings but i do get recipes off the website and out of the magazine and get some tips from on here about free food etc.... My latest snack was couscous, i made it with italian herb stock, and added chopped tomatos, mushroom, onion, green pepper and sweetcorn and some roast chicken, its in my fridge to snack on as and when to prevent me reaching for the sausage rolls etc...
I am swearing by my slow cooker and george foreman :D

I'm going to struggle today; had baked beans / poached egg and tomatoe for brekkie/brunch. Going to Pizza express tonight with friends; saw online their leggeria pizzas with dough taken out of the middle and replaced with salad - 500 cals; might have to go with that and their frozen yoghurt for desert - try resist the temptation for all the full fat things!! It'll be worth it I guess! :0) have a good weekend :) xx
