I had a bad night myself last night and gave in to the temptation of KFC :(( Really not good when I put on last week, but I guess these things happen. Really need to pick myself up, give myself a talking to and get my head back in the game - and stop giving in!! Need to shift quite a bit more before the wedding!

Congrats on being at target though twirler, and good luck on going further when you get back :)

i have got my weigh in tonight, but i think i am going to have put on, as had three days in newcastle, i tried to find food that stuck to the plan, but it was difficult, wherever i went even if i asked for salad it came with extras on the plate that were covered in mayonnaise. and it steered clear of jacket potatoes, being as someone brought up in our last meeting that whetherspoons, deep fry their jacket potatoes to warm them up instead of putting them in the microwave, so they can be as much as 30 - 40 syns per potato, i had hardly any alcohol but fear that i have gone over my allowance each day, and will be on the naughty chair tonight, i did lots and lots of walking though, fingers crossed i have maintained and not put anything on :( x

no we were very shocked, as normally would go for the jacket potato as its supposed to be syn free without butter, but thats apparently how the skins are so crispy, so i will steer clear it them there, but then you never know with any other places what they get up to do you :)x

I'm getting back into it again. Just brought loads of the mug shots and jacket spuds etc. Going back on the bran flakes in the morning as I think I can have them as a healthy extra option???? With the milk as another. After that its free stuff all the way!

I'm really going to try this time and do it well. I so want to lose a dress size at least before the wedding. I know it can be done.

I would say when you are trying to lose weight be realistic about it. Aim to lose between one and two pounds a week and stick to that. If you put too much pressure on yourself you are setting yourself up to fail. The more your lose the more it starts to slow down and get harder to get it off.

Well done to all those that have lost so far. Don't do my trick and put it all back on again lol.

Going for my 2nd weigh in tomorrow and I'm so excited. I've been doing it 4 weeks now but haven't been able to go to my last meetings and had only lost 1lb at my first one. I have been weighing myself at home and I think I may be nearly at 1/2 stone (or very close at least) so I am looking forward to that. Just hope it isn't bad news!

for 6 syns you can have the biggest bowl and I mean mixing bowl of lush strawberry/raspberry mousse. You get a 500ml tub of fat free fromage frais and then blend a tub of your fruit. Mix into the fromage frais and then stir in a packet of jelly crystals. Whisk and then leave to set in the fridge. It makes loads and is so nice.

Also fat free fromage frais mixed in with some choc options (syns depend on how much you mix in) and then set in with some gelatin. Again very low in syns.

    Choc Cake

    For the cake:
Half an oz of self-raising flour
Half an oz of drinking chocolate
    3 Eggs
    5 Tbs of Sweetener

    For the topping:
    1 Tub of Quark
    Sachet of White Chocolate Options
    1 Tbs of Sweetener
    Raspberries/Strawberries/Whatever you want

    1. Pre heat the over to about 180 degrees.
    2. Combine all the cake ingredients together and pour into a round sandwich cake tin. Bake for 10 minutes until at a spongy texture and leave to cool.
    3. While the cake is cooling, mix the quark, options and sweetener in a bowl.
    4. Once the cake is cool, spread with the frosting and top with berries or whatever you'd like to use!

I had 1/8 of the cake and it was more than enough! And only 1 syn!!
