We sent out 3/4 of our invites (the only ones left were my h2b's family as we were waiting for addresses) a couple of weeks back, the all arrived the next day BUT only 2 people have even bothered to look on our wedding website?
Im probably over reacting but i thought everyone would be on there in a flash wanting to have a nose, (before we only had a couple of pages on view now we have all the menus, rsvp, all the rest of the info about the day for people to view). Ive had 1 friend RSVP the next day which was lovely of him, but the other guest is h2bs usher & his gf.
Our evening invites have been out like 3 weeks now (as they arrived before our day invites so thought i may aswell get them out) and NON of them have looked on their either.
Ive text /messaged my bms 3 times about just having a look so they know all the details and how to choose their menu choices on there rather then telling me. - Non of them have been on despite them telling me theyd have a look that evening. (annoys me more that the majority of them are ALWAYS on the net updating their status etc yet its too much trouble for them too look)
I already have this feeling that were going to be chasing people up to RSVP.
:( Just feel abit deflated about it all x x x

Aww no don't be deflated. It really sucks that people haven't got on it straight away, I know if I got an invite with all the details on the website I'd be super excited to get on the site and have a look, so I don't understand why they haven't look yet! Maybe the website counters frozen or something? It might just be that people have been a little too busy and things with it being the end of January / start of Feb time, I know my routines been manic. So maybe if you pop a gentle reminder on facebook ie so excited about the wedding website interest and everyone RSVPing, and maybe that will remind people to go back on now things have started getting back to normal a bit? I hope they get up the appropriate level of enthusiasm, but if not then its still your day and its going to be amazing regardless of whether they don't mange to realise that and get fully excited until they walk in and go WOW. But they'll get there in the end, because on that day your excitement and happiness is going to be contagious!

It's a pain isn't it. Especially since you've put the effort into the site and no one can be bothered xx

Don't worry, there's still time for them to get their butts in gear !! Unfortunately, as LMC said, no one is ever as excited as the bride & some people just don't get how much time, effort & money goes into it! Hope they get on their soon! xx

If your bridesmaids say they looked at the site, could it be that there is a problem with the way that the site is telling you who is looking at it? Maybe people have been on and had a nose but just haven't filled in any of the information yet? People are lazy and disorganised by nature, its a natural human fault that we don't even realise most of the time. I doubt anyone is intentionally not bothering, and no one would want to upset you, least of all BMs. Have a chat with a BM, ask her what she thought of a particular detail on the site. That will help you work out if she's looked at it and just not filled anything in, or if she hasn't actually seen it. Then you can kick her butt :)
